Frank Allen's Market & Grill

I've been seeing best burgers, of course you see that a lot being in a tourist town, I finally broke down and got a bacon double cheeseburger and I have to say it is definitely one of the best , it's been a long time but I would have to say it was actually better than Dunn's market , it's been a long time since I've stopped in at Dunn's so I'm comparing from years ago . Excellent job I'm sure Frank Allen would be proud considering all the changes to food , quality, pricing etc..

It's a great place to grab food to go. I love their cheeseburgers and chili dogs. So good. It's inside of a gas station but there are a few booths and stools at a bar.

We have visited this restaurant many times in the past. Sometimes the food was really good and other times it was so so. Today we only got a slaw dog and a regular hotdog with chili and 2 orders of fries. We waited for over 30 minutes to get our order and they were not that busy. The slaw dog was so loaded with slaw that my husband could barely eat it and it could not be picked up and eaten like a regular hotdog.

After we got our order, my husband found a hair from the cook in the fries and we noticed that some of the deli workers did not wear gloves and bare handed handled the food. Also none of the deli workers wear hear nets. Makes me wonder how they handle and store the food there.

This all seems like health violations. We could not find a health inspection report anywhere in the place.

It will be along time before we go back there.

With all of the hype about this being "Dolly's favorite" I was expecting a lot more I guess.

The food was ok, nothing special. I would have to guess when the original owners ran out back in the day it was very different.

We can at least say we have been.

Getting someone to take your order is a real ordeal. Everything, and I mean everything is higher up the priority list.

We sat down at the counter today waiting to place our order. They were busy but they totally ignored us. Didn't even acknowledge we were there. We were hungry so we chose to leave and go somewhere else to eat. I don't know if I'll give them another chance, they were obviously understaffed. And look totally unorganized. I can't comment on how the food tasted, didn't get the chance.

Went today and had breakfast: scrambled eggs with cheese, a side of sausage and 2 biscuits and gravy plus a unsweet tea. Overall pretty good. Will definitely be back.

The food is always good but I come in every day and June is always rude I ordered chicken tenders and come in and ordered a extra one and she said " GD" an other one

The food is very good for fast food. This place is located in a Marathon gas station, but do not let that fool you. This, place is good. There is quite the history here too. Also, Dolly Parton's favorite place for a Slaw Dog I am told.

Nice friendly staff food is always great. I have worked at zips next door for a year and every morning I get breakfast. Soo good. I would also like to shout out Jamie great person and makes shure the order is correct. And to Kelsey great manager. And Julie is so nice and polite. I love u guys.

My first time eating here and I was not disappointed. Soooo Gooood!! I had a, don't judge me, Double Bacon Cheeseburger, a Fried Bologna Sandwich, A Nacho Dog, and an order of fries. Service is great, food is delicious, and the price point is out of this world. Do yourself a favor and have a bite to eat at Frank Allen's grill, you can thank me later.

My husband and I have been very anxious to try this place. Stopped today, on our way in to Pigeon Forge, and the restaurant closed an hour and a half early. The lady working was very dismissive...."closed early today...short handed" ...then turned back to talking to another employee. Uh... ok, thanks I guess, lol. Byeeeeee.
