My first time eating here and I was not disappointed. Soooo Gooood!! I had a, don't judge me, Double Bacon Cheeseburger, a Fried Bologna Sandwich, A Nacho Dog, and an order of fries. Service is great, food is delicious, and the price point is out of this world. Do yourself a favor and have a bite to eat at Frank Allen's grill, you can thank me later.

My husband and I have been very anxious to try this place. Stopped today, on our way in to Pigeon Forge, and the restaurant closed an hour and a half early. The lady working was very dismissive...."closed early today...short handed" ...then turned back to talking to another employee. Uh... ok, thanks I guess, lol. Byeeeeee.

This was our First visit to Frank Allen’s. The reason we went was I saw the name on FB and looked it up. The reviews were pretty decent so I figured we’d check it out the next time we were in PF. We stopped in for lunch with our grandson. We walked in and unsure what to do, it’s not what we are used to going into a diner, not that it’s bad just usually have someone seat you. I went to the counter where I saw two ladies and told the one that waited on me this was our first time here and wasn’t sure on how to order. She said order here. The wife ordered the nacho dog, grandson ordered cheese bacon dog and I ordered two bbq dogs. For me it was just ok. I think the hot dogs are low quality and that’s my opinion, but in today’s market that’s always unusual. Just to be fair the ladies were great folks all around. Friendly and helpful.

Food here is really good and very affordable. Located in the gas station just outside our favorite campground, we eat here regularly when we're camping in the area.Breakfast I recommend the biscuits and gravy with scrambled eggs and sausage or bacon. Lunch I recommend the bacon double cheeseburger with fries, onion rings, or tater tots. My wife loves the inferno dog for lunch.

A shadow of its former self. When the family sold the business the new owner immediately cheaped out on ingredients at the grill. The burgers used to be the perfect thin patties with a nice char on the surface, but now they are thicker and have gristle in them and the wrong fat to salt ratio to make them taste good. Everybody liked the old location better, but once we got used to the new building everything was fine; then they had to go and ruin it.

This hidden gem is located inside a Marathon has station between Sevierville and Pigeon Forge. Whenever I first think of places like this, my initial concern is a greasy restaurant that is dirty and you stick to everything which is NOT the case here. Very clean and great service. They have a counter where you can sit on an old fashioned stool or sit in a booth. Orders are placed at the counter and they bring the food to you. I had 2 slaw dogs which had chili and coleslaw on them. Yeah, I know some of you call it coney sauce. I call it chili. My wife had the nacho dog which had chili and fritos. Both were delicious. We split a side order of crispy French fries. The prices are very affordable. 2 slaw dogs for only $5.00. One person sitting in a nearby booth had the onion rings and my mouth absolutely watered wanting an order of those -- but that's on the list for the next time that we visit. The hotdogs are very flavorful and not greasy. These are not all beef hot dogs so if you prefer all beef, then just be aware. Without a doubt, a new favorite lunch spot for our next trip to the Smokies.

I will start by saying I've never been a fan of food from the gas station. However Frank Allen NEVER disappoints! Today we stopped in for breakfast and it was delicious. It captures a small town breakfast perfectly. I can go ahead and tell you you can't go wrong with their fresh fries and burgers either. If you're in town and don't want to go where all the tourists are, or you want to avoid the long lines go to Frank Allen's. I feel like it captures Sevier Co perfectly, and gives you the country, hole in the wall experience that is hard to find in a tourist town.

We were so excited to eat where Dolly does when she's in town. I got the slaw dog, and it did not disappoint. Though messy, they served it with a fork, and it was delicious! This is the way we eat our hot dogs in WV, and I think it's the best I've ever had. The onion rings were really good too!

I think they have awsome great food ,I just wish they would change gloves and wash hands more often. but the staff is great and so is the food .the wearing gloves and washing hands often cause them a star from me .but other than that they are fantastic.
