Local Eatery and Grill

Unfortunately we will never go back to the Local Eatery. We moved here 3 years ago from Southern California and fell in love with the Local as we live right up the street, for 2 years we had dinner there every Friday night and loved the entertainment,during football season we were there every Saturday and Sunday for lunch or dinner for Football, we stopped going for dinner on Fridays when the menu changed, but still stopped in on a Saturday or Sunday for lunch and cocktails, yesterday Saturday the first home Vols game they did not have,so no more Saturdays because we can watch it at home but really enjoyed watching it at the Local, so we watched it at home, today we went to the Local to watch the Saints game and have lunch, they we very short handed and couldn't get the Saints game, we are so disappointed in the Local Eatery that we will NEVER patronize them again, it amazes me how in 1 year a Local staple can go from being a place that local Boyd's Creek residents gathered to enjoy friends and family to a restaurant that is such a disappointment.

Great food, off the beaten path and away from the touristy area. Definitely recommend.

Stood there for a good couple minutes before anyone greeted us. The lady was a little rude when she told us there were “closed” it was 8:30 , website said they close at 10:00. The bar was full of people , they had a band playing and tables were full of people but they were closed. I WONT be back!

Absolutely great place to eat ..

Tried out due to discount offered on back of Food City receipts. Will definitely be coming back. Portions are great for the price and good variety of items

What use to be a great spot has turned into a dump thanks to the new owners who have ruined a great place! Food sucks and service will suck now that they have ran off all their good help. They took over a gem and ran it right into the ground!

We have been coming here for a long time. We have always enjoyed their food but not today. It wasn’t good at all. Horrible actually! Had to send my food back. I wouldn’t recommend.

The new owners of the Local Eatery and Grill have destroyed the local feel. They got rid of all of the familiar faces and replaced them with untrained staff. They are charging more money for less food and they are not even making anything from scratch anymore. If I could give them zero stars I would.

Good place to stop in if you are ever out that way! It’s definitely a local spot as there is very little touristy things to do way out there.
