Local Eatery and Grill

The new owners of the Local Eatery and Grill have destroyed the local feel. They got rid of all of the familiar faces and replaced them with untrained staff. They are charging more money for less food and they are not even making anything from scratch anymore. If I could give them zero stars I would.

Good place to stop in if you are ever out that way! It’s definitely a local spot as there is very little touristy things to do way out there.

Food was really good. Philly cheesesteak, Smokehouse burger and cheese curds. Live music. Very friendly local atmosphere. Sarah delivered 5 star service!! Glad we came here for dinner tonight. We will be back.

Just a sweet little place going down the road!!!! Our food was wonderful! There was only one waitress she said usually more on Thursday Friday and Saturday. She still got to us in a timely manner and there were several patrons there. I will be back in next trip to

This WAS a great place to meet friends and family under the pervious owners but the new owners are taking away the fun atmosphere that existed before and have raised their prices which can be understood but at the same time are serving less product for the higher prices. The Local losing their "local" patrons is already happening. This NOT Gatlinburg but a Community restaurant!

Excellent food, I love this place! So...my only complaint is that I've gone there during posted business hours twice and they weren't open. Once with out of town guests and I bragged on it all the way there and it was closed. The next time I went, the doors were unlocked but it was empty inside. I called out several times but had zero response. I could hear someone in the kitchen.
However, if you can catch them open , you won't be disappointed

I just moved here a 2 yrs ago and came in 10 before closing not knowing the times of the establishment they treated me like family and to this day they are my family. I love this place!!! We love Sarah and Jessica

Personal preference plays a role in this response. The batter on the Catfish was thick and bitter. I prefer corn meal batter and not bitter. The Broccoli and Cole Slaw were good. The service was not as good as usual, but the place did have a lot of people there.

Came in to watch NFL. Waitress I’ve never seen, (I’ve been here since their opening) says new owners changed cable provider. She says that Sarah, the manager, says all televisions are auto tuned to come on at one, which it is after one now, but no NFL games are on!!! Also, Jessica, the waitress, said she just called Sarah, and Sarah says CBS is not part of Spectrum’s package. Really???? It’s a shame it seems to be chaotic to watch a football game!!! Part of this establishment’s name is bar.(hint, hint…any bar and grill in town will have on NFL games!!!) This place has also been known to send folks home at halftime of UT games!!!! I know. I should learn!!!!
P. S. New owners: please be very aware of what is going on in your new establishment. More to the story above, but not airing it out here. Just please be aware.

Have been here many times. Great food, great bartender. Apparently, new owner change. In my Two beers and one order of food I had three different servers. Because of this there was multiple people asking us what we needed, while others had already handed out. Makes for a good amount of confusion. Had to walk across the restaurant to “sign” for credit card. This place has been great for a long time, questioning what the new ownership is trying to do. Have been out of multiple things I’ve asked for behind the bar. At no point should your bar be out of three things I ask for. Hope they figure it out. New ownership shouldn’t mean new problems.
