I was hoping this was going to be good cajun food, But I was disappointed. Jambalaya tasted like pepper and nothing else. The gumbo was thin and the red beans just tasted off.

We went for my birthday 🎂 and was like being back home in NOLA.

It's always a great place to eat year after year. The next best place to eating on New Orleans. We always order the catfish. We also order the sampler plater for appetizers. Let the good times roll! Get there early, or you'll have a long wait when they're busy.

So overpriced and cramped. If Louisiana is so great go be there!

Even though they were quite busy and the crowd was growing, the workers stayed composed and gave amazing service! We were checked on frequently, but not to a level of overbearing. The food was extremely quick too, especially for a sit-down-made-to-order-restaurant. We both got the Catfish Basket. It wasn’t greasy, so it doesn’t make you feel bad afterwards about eating it. Extremely filling. You’re probably going to spend closer to $20 per person, rather than $10 per. Very lovely ambiance with the decorations and the live singer, who was absolutely amazing and had very good yodeling skills. We will definitely be back in the future.

Everyone was so polite, the food was fresh and hot, served in a timely manner. I had been waiting to try their White Chocolate Bread Pudding and it did not disappoint! We were blessed to dine on a day that they had a lovely Lady singing to the dining guests, that topped everything off. Definitely a place you should try!

Just had lunch at Paw Paws. Hubby had the fried catfish basket and I had the fried shrimp basket. Very fresh and cooked to perfection. Portions are more than enough and reasonably priced. Hubby said he can’t remember having such a good and fresh meal out like this in a long, long time. Best catfish he’s ever had. Shout out to our waitress Sandra, she’s such a sweetheart. Thank you Paw Paws Catfish Kitchen!!

Me and my family love this place the food the people the whole atmosphere.the good is very well portioned for the price ,the have the freshest catfish I've ever eat it doesn't have that really strong fish taste it just falls apart when you pick it up and the gator best around but my favorite is the homemade white chocolate bread pudding.,and just the friendliness and warmth of the staff .I have a special needs daughter and they always make her feel welcome .we have made it a tradition to eat there on all of our birthdays for years now and will for many to come

This place is great. Plan vacation around the days they are open. They were short staffed the day we ate but the food was great as always. Wish they were open more days .... but that's okay. I make sure to visit on a day they are open. Long wait but they told us that when we came in because extremely short staffed. That's okay. The food was well worth the wait.

As their website says, it’s definitely “worth the drive.” Excellent fried catfish and his puppies! Best we’ve had in many years.

Had passed by this place many times and never stopped. Decided to stop for lunch on way to Pigeon Forge. Good decision. Ending up stopping on way home for dinner. Will definitely be going back.
