My husband and I stopped by Shine girl on our way in Friday for my birthday weekend and I can say I'm so very glad we did! We were greeted upon walking in by the fabulous bartender Joyce and she made our visit enjoyable and memorable ❤️ The moonshine flavors were smooth and tasty and those cocktails are phenomenal. We definitely have to give those Bloody Mary's a 10/10. Needless to say we left with 6 bottles in tow!! I would recommend anyone coming to the area to give Shine Girl a try and can't wait to stop by again in the near future! Joyce is a keeper so hold on to her cause I'll be asking for her upon our return 😉 Thank you for a wonderful time!!

My wife and I are visiting from North Carolina and this was the best tasting in Tennessee we visited. Tootie and Linda made it great. Down to earth and friendly. I recommend that if you are visiting Tennessee you should stop and spend some time with this great place

When I visited the distillery store for the first time on October 19, 2025 (because I had heard about it after watching an episode on “RV There Yet?” last year), I asked Lainey how much the Red Velvet was. She advised “$27.” I would’ve loved to have bought it, but I was traveling on an airplane the next day and was not checking a bag to put it in. Lainey told me I could order it online. GREAT! 👍 However, when I went online, that $27 she quoted me (without bothering to tell me about the extra charges), will end up costing me almost $65! No thanks! Are you kidding me? It can’t possibly cost that much to ship that size of a bottle. Very disappointed because I wanted to buy that very much! Have a ❤️ for the people who are not rich! 😩

Visited Shine Girl on Sunday October 19 with my girlfriend. I have never posted a review in my life about any place of business but this is a must. Felt uncomfortable as soon as we started speaking to Lainey. First she was very disinterested in what we were asking her. As a first time visitor we wanted to learn more about the business. Secondly what an attitude. Snarky, snippy, downright rude. Just a nasty attitude. Amazingly my girlfriend continued to support this business by buying there merchandise. I would have walked out. Maybe she was having a bad day but a customer should never be treated the way we were.

Stopped by for the first time a couple weeks ago. Damn good liquor. Daniel's niece was there serving that day. Very friendly, knowledge and just fun to be around. She mixed and the wife a couple drinks that were excellent. Definitely will stop again and again.
My husband and I were in the area on vacation and I saw this place online and was instantly hooked and wanted to check it out. We are so glad we did, from the moment we walked in we were greeted warmly by Tara( she is an absolute sweetheart!). I am not a big moonshine gal, but oh my gosh their moonshine is AMAZING!! It is so smooth and your throat doesn't feel like it's on fire. We bought 2 bottles of our favorite...the Red Velvet and the Lavender. We actually ended up going again the next day, as we knew Tara was working again and we just love her, as she is so personable and she even recommended restaurants in the area. We bought another bottle while there. This was our last night in town and we couldn't have thought of a better place to end our last day of vacation. We will most definitely come back whenever we come to this area again. We also love how they offer a military discount, as my husband is a Veteran. BEST MOONSHINE EVER!!😊❤❤

Shine Girl was a last minute stop, but it was definitely worth it! I went with my family for a group of roughly 15 people and Houston did a fantastic job. Houston had great quips to keep us laughing while he educated us on the various drinks Shine Girl carries. After the delicious free tastings, we got some mixed drinks and since there was some leftover Houston gave us the rest with no charge. I highly recommend stopping here as a part of your distillery adventure through Tennessee.

Small business off the beaten path. Really nice atmosphere, clean, casual. Exactly what we were hoping for after surviving the log jam in Gatlinburg. And the moonshine is so tasty. Will definitely come back here.

I am visiting today May 24, 2025, it is a very quaint and relaxed place. Just cone on in and belly up to the bar. Enjoy conversation with the knowledge bartender and various customers. She has a great selection of drinks, also be sure to get yourself a souvenir/gift and maybe some for family and friends. I had fun and will definitely be back.....Becky
