Love the food here! I’m originally from Arizona and for the past three years I have been on the search for real authentic Mexican food and I finally found it. Everything on the menu is delicious. Staff make you feel welcomed and are very kind.

The food is the best, authentic and full of flavor! If you like cheese and brisket, and hard to find authentic tamales, with birria, you must check this place out.

Idk why no one's reviewing this place, cause it's awesome. I got their lunch special with an al pastor taco, steak quesadilla, and chicken tamale. All of them were f'n great. The pork was my favorite, but the others were really good too. The strawberry lemonade was delicious too

(Warning) No Animals were hurt or Explosive Bowl movements Experienced... ? the Negative Side...(ugh I hate this part) There were some major staff problems, but the 3 we saw didn't care about seem to care about or acknowledge just kept talking amongst themselves and cellphones. When 1 finally came over and we were the only people there. We. Ordered Friday night special the waitress tried to Defuse & pre apologized.. You have to pay $Extra for the Dipping Sauce...... WTF...? ?on a side note... It's way better with it (but skip ordering it) .. The Juice in the Real Beans is the same exact Stuff.... comes with choice of Drink.. Mango juice or ? The food is SO good. Excellent ratio of cheese and meat. Aqua Frescas are also amazing! Love the self serve salsas/liMes/condiments as well. Only negative is that they are only open Thursday-Sunday. Try it!! You won't be disappointed

We've been wanting to try this place for awhile. When it comes to taste you won't be disappointed. If you're looking for portion size, you will be. One order was the Birra plate. It was served on a lunch plate, the kind you had in elementary school. The second order was three small birra tacos. Clean, friendly environment. Sum it up, expensive and small portions. Doubt we'll return.

It was pretty good. I wasn't blown away but the birria tacos and nachos both hit the spot. They were fresh and I would order them again. I've had better but these were solid. The customer service was awkward at first but excellent at the end. Overall I enjoyed it and will be back!

The Birra tacos are the best in Tennessee. They have outdoor and indoor seating. You won't be disappointed

This is just a little carry out place. It does have a few tables where you can eat there but don't let that fool you. The burrito that I had there was second to none. Stop in for a quick bite of really taste authentic Mexican street food.

My wife and I split a platter with a taco, "quesataco," quesadilla, birria noodles (birria, broth, and ramen noodles), and something I'm not sure what was but was cheese and birria sandwiched between two corn torillas. We also got two canned drinks. Price was around $30 including tip. We had a few leftovers that we polished them off a day or so later, which is impressive, because we usually never make it back to leftovers when we are traveling in the Smokies. We would definitely go back. Their menu seemed limited compared to what we had seen on facebook, but we were there the week after New Year on a day with a winter storm warning.

This place is great. It was our first time here and first time trying birria tacos. They have a menu available to view at the counter where you place your order and pay. There is a fee for using a credit card so we opted to pay with cash instead. There are several tables if you’d like to dine inside or you can wait off to the side until your food is ready for take-out. They have a self-serve cold bar that has cilantro, onion, radishes, and two types of salsa. The red salsa is spicy and so good! It only took 5-10 minutes for our food to come out. We ordered the quesa tacos and quesa birria. The tacos were around $12 and the quesadilla was $14. Given the amount of meat inside both items, we didn’t mind the price. The food was hot and fresh off the grill and came with broth from the birria to dip the food into. The tacos also came with a side of refried beans and seasoned rice - which was a nice surprise! We couldn’t believe how flavorful and juicy the meat was and the cheese was stringy and melted. The restaurant was very clean inside and the staff was friendly. Highly recommend!

Yes, you read that right! We've been to restaurants in Manhattan, Seattle, Atlanta, Los Angeles, Las Vegas. Memphis - all over the USA. It's billed as serving Tijuana street food. It is NOT located in a tourist area where prices (and overhead) are higher and many restaurants' business model is focused one-time transient customers. Quality and price doesn't matter at those places because they aren't counting on repeat customers to begin with. This place is set up like a fast food place. You order and pay in advance at the counter. They give you a number and you return to the counter to get your order when it's ready. When we got our order at the counter we were given instructions on how to bus our own table to their satisfaction! (FAIL) Our order consisted of 3 tacos 2 tamales 1 12 oz bottled soda 1 20 oz cantaloupe punch served in a disposable clear plastic cup. That's all that we got with the order. These weren't meals. Just three tacos and two tamales with two soft drinks. Nothing else came with it. When we ordered, judging by the price, we assumed we were ordering meals. The price? Depends on whether you use cash or charge card. Cash: $30.25 Credit: $31.15 The tacos were served on an oval Chinet paper plate. The tamales were served in a mesh plastic basket lined with waxed paper. Toppings were self serve at a table against the back wall. The toppings consisted of approximately a half dozen items - red salsa, green salsa, chopped onions, shredded lettuce, and a couple of other things. The food itself was nothing to write home about. Nothing special. It was merely Okay. There are much better, and reasonably priced, Mexican restaurants in the area. Business was far from brisk. There was one employee behind the counter. There was another person who appeared to me to be an employee, or somehow connected, who sat at the corner table by the window looking at her phone. So, for what you get, and what it is, this place is the most expensive restaurant we[ve ever been to! In ALL cases, restaurant prices should be commensurate with quality, service, quantity, ambiance, and location - PERIOD. I've encountered these types of places many times before. Someone with zero business acumen gets it into their head to open a business. They lack business skills, market knowledge, customer service skills, common sense, whatever, etcetcetc. It flops in short order. That's my prediction for this place. It's not located in a tourist area and therefore caters to local customers, and must rely on repeat business. The proprietor should re-think his business model very quickly before going broke, or just cut his losses immediately and close the doors for good. The restaurant business involves long hours, little or no time off, very hard work, talent, tight margins, and committment. Market conditions determine price; NOT what you think your food's worth, and not what you need to charge to get by. Reality is a tough school master.. We both felt ripped-off. We will not return.
