My wife and I wanted to try a winery off the beaten path. We went in and weren’t greeted. The only bartender/employee there was a grumpy man. He forgot our cheese tray and never apologized when we decided to pay after we were waiting for too long. Overall, we felt like we were being a burden on him. Pretty mediocre experience for $9 a glass of just ok wine. View was good though!
Amazing customer service!!
Great wine tasting and beautiful views. Friendly staff.
Very disappointed, we had a group come in for tasting and to drink for a bachelorette party, when we walked in we were greeted NOT so nicely by the lady working, asking if we had reservations even though there was not a soul in the place, we were prepared to spend a few hours there drinking wine and eating cheese boards but the way we were greeted ruined the whole experience for us right away. The gentleman who was our wine tender made the experience a bit better during our tastings but we had already decided we were leaving at that point. She did apologize for how she greeted us as I was the last one out the door but still felt very unwelcomed and disappointed.
The wine is not very good at all, every single one had a mildew/wet sock taste and it was very hard to get past.
The photos and website of this place are very deceiving, beautiful view in the photos but it fails to show the rusty RVs right outside, overall not the worst experience but would never go again.
Wine was absolutely terrible, lady working was rude and unprofessional. “Mountain View” is an RV park and a gas station. Pictures on website are misleading. We called months in advance if we needed reservations, person on the phone told us no. Walked into the building and the lady working yelled at us because we did not have reservations. Would not recommend to my worse enemy.
Horrible service, No parking, 1hr to get flight. Need some upgrades.
Although I wasn't a fan of much, I did enjoy the charcuterie board ans their slushies!
None of the wine was chilled and tastings were out of plastic shot glasses. Even though none of the wine was dry enough for us we ordered a bottle of white wine to drink with a charcuterie board, which was amazing, but the bottle was barely cool. Plus, all of the wine, even the bottle we ordered, had an odd flavor to it.
Free Wine Tastings … none of the whites or Rosee wines were chilled. Even if you buy a glass these were not chilled. The view would have been great but they did not have any fans on the deck. Temperature today was in the mid 90’s . We were prepared to stay and have a glass but not having any the wine chilled was a deal breaker. This was a disappointing experience. My husband tried the Reds and found nothing.
Mountain View Winery is an absolute five-star experience from start to finish. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and perfectly set against a beautiful backdrop that makes every visit feel special. The staff here truly go above and beyond — every worker I encountered was incredibly nice, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do. Their friendly attitude made me feel welcome right away and added to the overall charm of the place.
The wine itself is nothing short of excellent. Each variety I tried was rich in flavor, expertly crafted, and showcased the quality and care that goes into every bottle. Whether you’re a seasoned wine enthusiast or just looking to enjoy a relaxing afternoon, there’s something here for everyone to appreciate.
I left already planning my next visit. Between the outstanding wine, the wonderful staff, and the overall inviting atmosphere, Mountain View Winery is a place I would happily recommend to friends and family. I can’t wait to go back!

We had a blast visiting here on Friday. I don't remember the lady's name but she was so much fun and gave my brother in law a run for his money! The view of the mountains is incredible! It's a smaller place but has a huge back yard with picnic tables and cornhole boards so you can spend some time and hang out! I also loved that it was away from the hustle and bustle of PF.
We had such a nice time here! 4 adults and we got a groupon which included the tasting, wine glass and charcuterie cheese board. We purchased a bottle of wine and spent time on the deck overlooking the mountains. Beautiful views and yummy Blueberry wine. Definitely recommend.
Great wine over great views. Fun women working at the counter right from the local small town. Nice change of pace from the tourist traps around Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.
Want to be ignored at a winery? Step right up to the tasting bar and stand there while employees walk past you repeatedly for ten minutes. Huge waste of time. So much for southern hospitality.
