Server very unfriendly. Walked up to the table and first thing she said is “ready to order”? Food tasted awful, this is the worst Thai food I’ve ever had. No basil in the Thai basil dish, chicken lettuce wraps tasted like dog food- very watery and not edible. It tasted like the chef was from Canada, rather than Thai land or anywhere near there. Won’t be back.

The peanut sauce was EXTREMELY watery
They charged me 22 dollars for 2 orders of summer rolls

Barely any shrimp, no noodles

Did this place change hands recently? The staff are sour and unfriendly, and the food was no where near as good as it used to be. As much as they charge for a glass of tea, you would think a refill would be in order. I think its time to take this one off my list. Their massaman curry sauce was thin and lacked the usual vegetables and the salmon was like a piece of shoe leather, highly over cooked.

Ordered take out, was very disappointed 😞 my dish looked and tasted nothing like my previous order!
How can that be?
Watery and hardly the vegetables for $18.99
Vegetable delight with chicken.
Ordered spring rolls got fried spring rolls.

Last order was as the picture in the menu.
Makes me sad

Ordered Thai Basil Fried Rice and Drunken Noodles, expecting bold flavors —but ended up with disappointment. The stir-fries were overloaded with sauce, the curries lacked depth, and the drunken noodles were surprisingly sober. Left most of it untouched and ended the night still hungry. Hoping it was just an off day.

I had came here after a doordash call that's been months ago and they waited till I got here but I got some Lemongrass Tom Yum Soup and chicken fried rice. Excellent! I don't believe I had given them a review then but I am now. Today I got the Coconut Soup Tom Kha and Pineapple Fried Rice. All was excellent! Now I said to the cashier that I thought it was a little expensive. The pineapple fried rice was $17.99 The soup was $6.99 but you get a big portion so I'm going to give them five stars because it is good more than good... I just need to probably come during lunch lol!

Nearly 15 years ago, a talented chef named Raj decided to bring his style of Thai cooking to Sevierville Tennessee. He was determined to bring a genuine Thai cuisine to folks who were familiar with the delicious dishes from a far off land and the folks who would discover his lunch and dinner specialties.
Raj found a quaint location snuggled off the Winfield Dunn Parkway that offered him plenty of parking among a small strip
of businesses. He put together a great staff and a varied menu.
He vowed to offer his diners numerous choices that could be customized to their liking. All entrees (except some seafood) come with your choice of beef, chicken, pork, tofu, extra vegetables, or added shrimp and other proteins. He tries to offer balanced meals, while allowing you to choose the heat. Mild, Medium, Hot, and very Thai Hot. There is also many vegan choices.
Thai Basil has special hours from 11AM until 3PM, at that point they close for all the employees to enjoy lunch, and reopen at 4:30 till closing for dinner.
I stopped in with the Mrs, for lunch and found many great affordable specials. I returned a week or so later for dinner where I had the Spicy Squid & Shrimp. My wife had Chicken & Shrimp Pad Thai. The portions are large so you get to have the leftovers the next day. We also had an appetizer combo of deep fried spring rolls and fried pot stickers. The fried Calamari is also excellent. There are many other spring roll appetizers and a house sampler.
Soups include lemongrass Tom Yum, Coconut Tom Kha, Shrimp Wonton and Tofu & Spinach soup. Entrees include many Noodle choices, Fried Rice choices, Seafood, Lots of Stir Fry offerings, Thai Curry and Salads. Desserts and inexpensive Kids Meals round out the menu.
Now is the perfect time to discover this gem of a restaurant. You'll love the choices and wonderful Thai flavors. Oh, and before you go home let Raj know you had a great time. It'll make his day.

Had the Lemongrass soup and fried pot stickers. Both were fantastic and great portion sizes! The entire staff was so nice, multiple people checked if I need anything, and even shared some nice stories. I highly recommend Thai Basil!

They gave me maybe up to six pieces of tofu, about five pieces of broccoli, a bunch of Penang sauce and rice. It was less food than an appetizer for lunch, but I’m still hungry. Kind of a bad value I would say.

Was craving some basil fried rice as my place back home had closed. This definitely fit the bill. The flavors were fresh and the prices seemed reasonable for today's economy.

I have ordered like 30 minutes before I reached to the restaurant. Still I had to wait for additional 45 minutes to get my order be ready for takeout. They seriously need an upgrade in their online order. If you plan to order online, don't do it here

The food was delicious, perfect service! We had a variety of plates between fried rice & drunken noodles. They were all delicious and fresh to order. Loved it! Very cute, friendly local spot.
