The food was great. We were a bit nervous when we first walked in because it was completely empty, but it turned out fine. The customer service was good, nothing over the top, but overall it was a nice place with good food. It was clean and the bathrooms were clean as well.

We ate here on a mid Friday afternoon. We were 1 of 2 tables dinning at this time. The server and hostest were pleasant and friendly. The server made sure we had what we needed and kept our drinks filled. We started with the Chillin' spicy cheese curds, which were great. A nice little heat, but not too much that you were dreading your decision. For entrees we ordered the psychedelic pick two and pick three. Between my husband and I we chose the pulled pork, the jalapeno cheese sausage, ribs, and brisket. For sides we chose the sugared green beans, mac & cheese, baked beans, and Cole slaw. The food was edible but not great. The baked beans and green beans tasted like they were dumped out of a can. The Mac and cheese tasted like that of what you might find in a grocery store in the cold section that's pre-made. The sausage tasted like Johnsonville brand that they grilled, and the ribs were dry to the point that the bones had turned white in the cooking process. The Cole slaw had a good flavor to it, as did the pulled pork. The brisket was also ok. If you're looking for edible BBQ with no truly good taste profiles and lacking smoke rings, you'll do fine here. If you're looking for something more authentic with a good smoked profile and "home made", probably not your best option.

Me and my family had a hard time searching for bbq because we were craving it, and everywhere we went didn't look so good, I requested this, so we went there and the food already look good on the menu,, my mom said "why didn't we just listen to you(me), this is delicious".The Ribs were tender, thats what I got, they were delicious, the fries were also super delicious, the nachos were good but maybe melt the cheese a bit more, the beans I know were canned but I mean thats how they always are in many other restaurants? I'm surprised there was nobody there, we asked the lady and she said she worked 8 hours yesterday and only served 4 tables, we asked why and she said because its sorta hidden. She looked sorta sad.We were done and gave her a big tip and she became happy. We will definitely be back in town to eat there. Definitely recommend. Service was great and Food was awesome.

Absolutely the worst bbq. The side dishes were from a can or pre-made. I had the ribs. They were not cooked from the grill. They were oven baked!!!! We went there around 2 in the afternoon and it was a ghost town! I should've left then. What a waste of time and money.

We got take out and decided to have a drink while we waited, food was out before the end of our drinks. Make sure you ask her for a sweet drink. Primo?. I've saved this spot in maps and will be back again. I wish you the best of luck in your business I hope it goes big.

I had the bbq salad with brisket, when the salad came noticed it had spinach, which I have an allergy to. The owner gladly switched the salad to all romaine and it was absolutely delicious!! Highly recommend!! Yum!!?

Five Happy Diners from the north leave as happy hippies with full bellies. My BIL suggested we try this place instead of another. I don’t know what the other place would have been like, but the team here at the Hippie BBQ made us very glad we chose their location, which to be fair is not in the busy section of the strip, and is a bit set back from the road in a shopping plaza. My fried jalapeños were the best I have ever had. So were the lemon pepper chicken wings. I had a house salad with the wings and appetizer, and it came with chicken, which grateful me didn’t expect to get.I made a point of sitting down and sharing my experience with the head of the team and talking with them about getting some live music in there one night a week, because seeing business a little slow there made me feel like they really need like a hookah lounge or live music or something to bring in the people, because I think folks are missing out on a great vibe here. But the music playing last night was era appropriate and the people there are genuine. They’re not a corporate fake illusion of barbecue. Give them a try! You won’t be disappointed. One Love.

We have found our new Smokey Mountain BBQ joint!! Amazing pulled pork and brisket. They make everything on site. Delicious potato casserole and Mac and cheese. The onion rings were so good!! We picked up to go, and the server still treated us like we were dining in. We cannot recommend this place enough!! You will not regret stopping in.

We went to Hippie BBQ for lunch and loved it. We got there right at 11 am and we were the only ones there, LOVED THAT! We got the brisket & pulled pork plate and it was delicious. The bar tender was super friendly and was on it even when they got there lunch rush. The kitchen manager came out to see how we liked our food and was also very friendly. The restaurant and bathroom were very clean as well. Give Hippie BBQ a try.

The server was super friendly when we stopped here while on vacation. The food on the other hand was hit and miss. Brisket was not good, pulled pork was ok, Mac N Cheese was really good. If you want BBQ, try one of the small BBQ shacks in the area. I wish we did.

The pulled pork was good if you like a lot of seasoning. My fries were not hot and had an off taste. My hostess/waitress was a child, but she did as good or better than most grownups.

DO NOT TIP ON YOUR CARD!!! This place runs the tip on your check with the initial bill and then puts a completely separate and additional hold on your card for the tip again. They don't remove the hold on their end so you have to wait for it to fall off at your bank. You basically get charged the tip twice and then you get one of the tips back in 3-5 business days. The food is fine. I'm not going to comment about the experience because I've only been here one time.
