We've tried 1783 twice, once via pick-up order & today breakfast with Doordash delivery. Bang Bang Shrimp were very bland compared to other restaurants & small serving size. The "cheddar" cornbread muffins, in which I tasted no cheddar, but was instead packed with jalapenos, (with no mention of jalapenos on their website or any delivery service menu), were ok with yummy sweet butter. Maybe let folks know these are jalapeno muffins? Bone-in pork chops had good flavor, but twenty bucks for a meal to come with one small side was too much. Husband was still hungry. Biscuits & gravy had good flavor, but forgot the side of potatoes & not nearly enough gravy to cover the thick bread. My takeaway is this place is decent, if inconsistent, and with prices too high for what you get.
Edit: emailed per the restaurant's request back in August 2023. It's now May 2024 and never received a reply.

This is possibly my new favorite restaurant. It's bright and clean and well themed for Seymour. They have a good menu with a varied selection so there is something for everyone whether you like standard fare or vegetarian or lots of meat and veggies like me. My wife and I had the flounder and shrimp with fries and okra and coleslaw. My son had the 10 oz Burger topped with bacon and mac and cheese. Instead of having a ridiculous number of Burger options listed you literally build the burger the way you want it which is fantastic. All of the food was delicious and fresh and there was plenty of it. You'll absolutely get your money's worth. Nearly as important as the quality of the food is the quality of the service. Our server Brad was top-notch, a regular guy but very knowledgeable and helpful and he kept check on us without being annoying. Other staff members stopped by the table to greet and ask if everything was the way we liked. This was our first time at the 1783 Eatery but absolutely will not be the last.
Vegetarian options: If you ask they will be sure to cook your vegetarian items separate from others to avoid cross-contamination. They won't even change prep gloves.
Kid-friendliness: This place is as family friendly and kid friendly as you can possibly ask for.
Wheelchair accessibility: This restaurant is fully wheelchair accessible. I didn't use the restroom so I can't say for sure about that but I would assume it is also.

Food not well done steak. Rare. They took it back and they made a new steak for me and then did not charge me for it now that's the way a restaurant is supposed to do if they make a mistake they fix it and I love this place for doing that

The food is mediocre. Prices are very high. Service is terrible. You can hear the team arguing in the back. Waitresses openly talk bad about management and vice versa. I’ve only had one good waiter there. My order has never been correct when I go. I miss Chapmans that was a great restaurant. Example of price 2 1/8in thick pancakes and 2 pieces of pathetic bacon is $12

Just visited for the first time--between us, we had meatloaf, okra, mashed potatoes, slaw, and steamed broccoli. Everything was great, nice decor, good atmosphere. 10/10 recommend, and we'll definitely be back.

Service was great. Food tasted great. My only issue was the breakfast portions of food were small. Want to go back and try lunch.
We had the fried Flounder and it was delicious. The fish was cooked perfectly. I arrived 5 minutes ahead of my pickup time so everything was hot
