We ran in late one evening and the young people working there were just the sweetest! The food on the buffet was good, despite it being so late and then about to close up the buffet. We will go back for sure!

Food was good. Nice little place right off the road. Everyone was nice except our waitress. Taylor was her name I believe. The only downside was I had to keep getting up and asking others for refills. Seemed that the locals got better service. It was not because it was busy!!!! There were only 4 other tables with people at them.

I LOVE the food here. The young people who work there are very friendly. My only gripe is, the kitchen is completely open to the dining area. Because of the kitchen noise and loud music, everyone in the restaurant must yell at each other to be heard. If you want a quiet place, this ain't it, unless you go late.

Known for their catfish, but the broasted chicken is definitely worth trying.
Stopped by for lunch while traveling. It’s a busy place but we were seated without waiting. Looks like they have a small buffet with your standard comfort food of fried chicken, mashed potatoes, rolls etc. we opted to order off the menu with chicken tenders with sides of Cole slaw and mashed potatoes. Good tasting, not bland at all. She ordered a slice of ham with mashed potatoes and a salad. All the food was fresh and good tasting. Bathrooms are a bit small if that concerns you. Waitress was outstanding and handled the crowd well. It is a diner so they do close at 3 pm.

Ok I have to accept that Sheltons is really good and I support them they have a really good breakfast and lunch and dinner they always make it right they have a buffet that normally has salad catfish etc I would suggest to accept this place oh and also they have a very good menu to chose from too!!

My husband and I had lunch here after church. Casual atmosphere. The staff & servers were very friendly. I had never had catfish before so I got the catfish filets. It was delicious! My husband got biscuits & gravy, sausage & hotcakes. I tasted the biscuits & gravy and wasn't thrilled with it. It was a plain white gravy. I prefer sausage gravy. The hotcakes were golden brown and delicious. The prices were very fair and the portion sizes are large. We will definitely be back.
