Heads up!! If you go to Shaps Chapel Market. The Pizza is absolutely Great. However I had an issue that turns out it’s an issue for everyone that cares. Today my wife went in and bought 2 beers that were supposed to be 2 for $6 plus tax (9.25%=0.55) I gave my $7 to pay for the beer for us before she got out of the car. She came back for some change said she didn’t have enough. Well I did simple math and said you have more than enough, you are being over charged. So after saying the sale is over but they didn’t remove the sign she would honor the sale price. Thanks!! Wife gets to the car with no receipt and was charged $6.75 . Still over charged. Ok no big deal let me go check. Come to find out they charge a 3% merchants fee which is legal if you are paying by credit card but not by cash. Then they also charge 9.25% on the 3% extra which also is illegal. I brought it to the ladies attention and she told me that’s how they do it and she knows the owners and that’s how it’s done. Well no that’s illegal on 2 different fronts. The fee on cash or penalty for using cash. Then you can’t charge tax on a service. I explained this to the unfriendly lady in the store with a very uncaring attitude in return. We spend $200 plus a week at this store between pizza gas beer and cigarettes. That’s about $15 a week or $60 a month of over charges. We have been here for 4 months that’s around $240 loss to over charge. Wow

Under newer ownership. Place has really turned around and is amazing! Excellent food with great portions and very friendly staff. Breakfast is unbeatable! Now serving dinner Friday & Saturday, yay! If you haven't been here in the last few months, you really should stop by.

Not bad place, friendly people, pricey, pizzas ok. Needs more everything from diner hours to stock and menu items, let alone menus themselves. Being the ONLY thing within miles, you'd think it'd be better... It seems like it's trying to do too much of everything...

Food is sub par. Bland tasting. I don’t like my potatoes/hash browns cooked in yesterday’s grease.

Stopped by the No Wake for a quick breakfast on our way to Knoxville. The food was delicious and the staff were very welcoming. While we waited on our food I did a quick walk through the market area. The bread was fresh and they had everything that you might need for a quick trip without having to go all the way into Tazewell. The only thing I found missing was eggs. The market and the grill are both very clean. When our food was ready it was exactly how we had ordered it and nice and piping hot.
