My wife and I visited here last week for the first time. I had pork marinade (Pastor) tacos and she had Steak (Asada) tacos. They were offered two different ways and we both chose to have Cilantro and grilled onion with thinly sliced radish to the side. There were two types of sauce. The homemade flavors being served here are different from the typical restaurants in this area, fresh and delicious. We returned today and had chorizo tacos, Mexican hotdogs, tostada de cueritos with flan for dessert. Everything was fresh and delicious. We highly recommend El Rinconcito for a unique and authentic flavor.! February 26, 2024Parking: There's plenty of unmarked parking space and they are working on making it much better.Kid-friendliness: It is kid friendly and no alcohol is served here!Wheelchair accessibility: Not at this time.

Excellent, fresh tacos, hot dogs. Quesadillas and flan. They also have daily/weekly specials. Their salsa is the best in town! Owned and operated by a local family, Ramon and his wife have quick, friendly service in a very clean, modestly decorated spot just as you leave Shelbyville proper. Eat-in or take-out with delivery coming soon. We had a wonderful discussion with Ramon while waiting for our order. He told us the history not just of his business but also the other Mexican restaurants in Shelbyville.

This new restaurant caught my eye and I stopped in today. I met with Ramon the owner and we chatted until my meal was ready.Ramon told me his history and ambitions with the restaurant industry and I think he’s on the right track! And after eating my meal I KNOW HE IS!!I ordered a few of each of the tacos(asada, pastor and chorizo) ALL WERE ABSOLUTELY SPOT ON!!I also ordered the Sincronizada Grande with Shrimp. Another awesome dish!This is the first restaurant I’ve eaten at in Shelbyville that I have zero complaints…. Not only that, all my boxes were checked with each dish. Not just one, but ALL! Fresh, flavorful and a good portion.I look forward to trying their homemade tamales, Chili Rellenos, refried beans/rice and other daily specials.I’m very interested in when they expand the menu with some of my requests and how many times a week I’ll be driving into town to eat.For now, I suggest following their Facebook page for updates. Order ahead so the fresh food can be prepared and ready upon arrival.Thank you Ramon for preparing and serving, which as of now, is the very best Mexican food I’ve had in Middle TN in the several decades of living around here. Even topping Oscars! ?Oh… the chocolate flan…. Is extremely fresh and flavorful! A must try if you enjoy flans.

Customer service is amazing, food is delicious (Jalisco style), & the waiter was super informative about their food and menu. I’ll definitely be coming back ?Kid-friendliness: They offer high chairs (need a changing table for the little ones in the restroom)
Ramon and his staff are fantastic, warm, and friendly. The food was delicious. I can't even compare it to any of our other restaurants. It's comfort food with an authentic kick. We'll definitely be back soon.

Something new in the area i passed by and came in for a quick bite but the people are warm welcoming and food smelled good as they was cooking it up. For sure had different options other then a typical mexican food restaurant for sure is something to come try and people here are friendly what you get for a family owned restaurant.
