My in laws me my husband and our 2 year old daughter went out and sat at La Hacienda for supper and our food was terrible. My husband asked for just meat cheese and red sauce on his burrito nothing else and they messed his order up twice. My order was burnt and I ordered the fajita Jalisco. My mother in law order nachos with just grilled chicken cheese and beans and they put onions in her food and my daughter had just a chicken and cheese taco with beans and rice on the side they put onions and bell peppers on her food and she's 2. On our drinks my father in law ordered a Mello yellow and they brought him an orange colored drink that had it was uncarbonated. Needless to say we will no longer go to La Hacienda.

Food is not great,
All tastes the same. Bland bland

Couldn’t even get a refill waitress kept talking to one other table.

3 tables total including us in there. Tons of people walking around but no one working.

My boyfriend tipped the waitress $20 for her being pregnant and feeling bad about her talking about her baby daddy etc.

Waitress tip hounding :( 😣

Food took almost an hour to get, and it wasnt good. They tried to add drinks to my bill that i didn't order. Then charged a dollar for using a debit card. There is far better mexican restaurants in Shelbyville.

The food was horrible. The poor waiter came back to our table 3 times to let us know that the kitchen was out of the dish we ordered. The refried beans were yucky and lacked flavor. We will not be back.

It seems these days almost everywhere is like this. But you know, order what you want.. eat what you get!
If I had to describe the chimichanga I would say the chicken flavor was off putting and the texture was like rubber bands.. the carnitas were underseasoned and overcooked and a very small portion (thank God) lol... and the hard tacos were unremarkable in every way

Kind of ashamed cause this used to be one of our favorite places in Shelbyville

I was in a party of 13, one little server was helping us. She did an amazing job!! The food was outstanding. All of our meals were hot and tasted great. We never had to ask for refills. I highly recommend La Hacienda.

I recently dined at La Hacienda and it was amazing! The guacamole, made fresh at the table, was a fantastic start.

My carne asada tacos were incredibly flavorful, and the homemade tortillas were perfect. My friend's enchiladas were equally delicious.

The margaritas were spot-on, and the service was attentive and friendly. The vibrant decor and lively atmosphere made for a fun dining experience. If you're craving authentic Mexican cuisine, La Hacienda is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

We have been regulars for years. Sometimes twice a week. The service has significantly declined. This has been our experience the past couple of months. It’s going to be quite awhile before we return.

We have always enjoyed meals here usually about 3 times a month. Lately, the service is very poor and it seems that although there are several workers there, only one is actually working. We will have to search for a New Mexican restaurant.

Grab some tacos, the tortillas they put are all toasted, mango water is useless, it feels sour.
