I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of the tour, especially how personable, informative, knowledgeable, funny and friendly our tour guide Terrell was. I definitely have plans to come back for the private tour. What Mrs. Weaver has accomplished is phenomenal. Educating the public on this rich history is priceless.
Absolutely amazing experience. Full of culture and history!!!
Loved learning the history of Uncle Nearest and being able to tour the property and tasting the liquor 😋
Awesome whisky, the Master blend is amazing but the uncut rye is probably the best bottle I’ve had this year period
Friendly staff, lots of historical information. Cool things to learn and great tasting bourbon.
My family and I had a wonderful experience at the distillery. Learning about the rich history of Uncle Nearest and the future of the brand is truly inspirational. The tour guide was knowledgeable, down to earth, and humorous. In addition, the staff was warm and welcoming, treating us like family. I would highly recommend the tour.
Terrell was our tour guide for the 1:00pm , June 6th tour. He was very informative and passionate about the history of Uncle Nearest & family. I gathered he truly enjoys his job and respect the leadership behind the brand.
The tour was very educational but Terrell made it fun as well. I would highly recommend visiting the property. In fact, I bought merchandise from the visiting center. As I wore some of the merchandise, I was stopped and asked would I recommend it and I said HIGHLY! 10 out of 10!!
Xavier led an amazing tour when I came in March! I learned so much about my favorite brand of whiskey as well as whiskey in general. As a bonus, he gave us some great cocktail and pairing ideas too. I highly recommend coming here for a tour if you’re interested in whiskey and cool history. Thanks Xavier and the entire Nearest distillery team!
We love Nearest Green products! This Distillery is rich in history! We drove from Myrtle Beach SC to tour & sample this spirit that we learned about and have been enjoying for a couple years now! Definitely worth a visit. Don't pass this one up!
This is a beautiful farm with lots of history and wonderful staff. The tour is so informative and the food is outstanding.

Really enjoyed the tour! Brent brought the history and legacy of Nearest Green to life.
This is a must visit! The tour is so informative and a wonderful family story. The whiskey is amazing and they have several variations (master blend and rye) that can only be bought on site. The BBQ restuarant on the property is so tasty (grilled cheese on crack with pulled pork) and great quality. The merchandise selection is vast and great fun choices. This is a top tier visit when visiting Nashville. It’s well worth the drive and we would have been so disappointed had we passed it up.
The barrel thieving experience was a lot of fun. We loved hearing the history of Nearest and really enjoyed the video. The welcome center gift shop had a great selection. We enjoyed the catfish and cocktails at Humble Baron. All of the staff was friendly - from tour check-in, to the gift shop, to our tour guide, to the bartender. Tyler, our tour guide, was AWESOME; he was informative and funny, he walked at a good pace, and he was friendly/likeable. There was ample parking and the grounds were immaculate. A top-notch experience overall!
Wonderful tour and history!
The grounds were very neat and the experience was like nothing I would have imagined. Such great history behind the product and I was appreciative to learn about Nathan "Uncle Nearest" Green and his uncredited knowledge and efforts to make such a great product. I enjoyed Pat and Kay at the beginning of the tour and our tour guide, Tyler, was very professional, knowledgeable and a joy to hang with for the duration of our tour.
