We love it. It was an excellent experience with the distillery $15 flight we tasted 5 excellent whiskey. Excellent service and very knowledgeable staff ( I'm sorry I didn't ask his name). Don't miss it. The bar insite is also interesting to visit and the BBQ place is an excellent for a bite.

I planned months in advance for tour and I wasn't disappointed at all. You will not only learn about Tennessee Wiskey process but quick history lesson on Tennessee.

An experience that is great and one should indulge. A story and history that the masses need to know. I would say it is a business on the launching pad of success with the rock ignited and is about to go skyward into the stratosphere.

My family and I visited the distillery for an afternoon tour. Xavier was very pleasant and throughout the tour shared the rich history behind the Uncle Nearest brand. It was a nice touch that he shared his own personal favorites and his storytelling of the land and history was very intriguing. We most certainly plan to return.

We had such an Amazing time doing the tour, the tour guide was awesome and so knowledgeable about everything. After the tour we went over to the Humble Baron for some amazing music and drinks and food. Great place for couples and groups. I will be coming back.

I advise everyone to take the Nearest Green Distillery tour. Fawn Weaver and her husband are making history and its exciting to see. There is a lot of history shared during this tour. Tour guide Terrell did an amazing job providing information and history. He has a lot of knowledge and passion for the distillery as if he is a descendant of Uncle Nearest. He was able to answer any and all questions without hesitation. I will definitely take this tour again as they continue to expand, make history and break records.

My husband and I had a fantastic time. It started with us running late for our tour, so I went online and booked another tour for the same day. I understood I was responsible for being late and didn’t expect a refund, nor did I ask for one.The young lady and gentleman working the check-in desk on 4/21 around 1:25pm, were nice enough to offer a refund for the tour we missed. BUT WAIT… it gets better. I had booked twice because I got an error while trying to book and the gentleman caught that I had actually paid 3 times, so they’d process the proper refunds. I LOVE GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! The team delivered.Tyler, was the tour guide and he was great. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and had a great lunch at Humble Baron afterwards.I was already a fan, but this experience cemented why I will always support Uncle Nearest & the endeavors of Fawn Weaver.

Absolutely Fantastic!! Please don't miss this amazing opportunity. The beautiful grounds, the history, the feeling.... it is unmatched. The restaurant was awesome and I'd love to come back for the live music festivals planned in the future. I felt so connected and it was awesome. The Thieves tour was the best distillery tour I've ever been on (and I've been on a lot...)

Nearest Green Distillery, it is a MUST stop!! Buy the book, take the tour, and drink the whiskey. (Ask for Xavier) Nearest Green was a formerly enslaved black man fondly known as Uncle Nearest. Uncle Nearest was a pioneer of distilling Tennessee whiskey and taught Jack Daniel the process in the 1850s. The first black master distiller, and quite possibly the man who wrote the book on how to make Tennessee Whiskey. This place was established with such love and respect that you can honestly feel it all around you. Thank you, Fawn, for all you have done with preserving this history and educating us all. It was such a pleasure, I didn't want to leave. Absolutely recommend 1200/10
