Only reason I left one star is cause zero stars aint an option. Speedway in shelbyville on madison Street is a DUMP..lazy crew. Shady crew. Dishonest crew. Managemwnt needs to get inna fire and rehire people with work experience that WANT to be qhere they work. Fountain drinks are ALLWAYS empty. Hot food ia usualky obercoovked or burnt. Last night. Eve of Thanksgiving innistakenly lwft my phone at the register while the young black clerk ran thw till thwre was a young lady standing behind the counter watching everything so upon realization that id left my phone inrwturned to the store to find the lady that wqs just watching horse playing with anither individual who was aparantly getting free drinks and I tgoughtbtheres no way the woman worked there the way she was acting childish. The clerk was very quick to state that I had my phone when i left almost bwforw I asked him if id left it. I tracked my phone on find hub the rest of the night from home seeing intravel all over ahelbyvill all night long and Speedway qaa frequented on the travels of my STOLEN phone. . the wipl steal yoir lottery tickets, they charged mw 15 dollars one day for two peocws of candy and a shuahie REFILL!! SPEEDWAY is normally my neighborhood stores as I live a few blocks away but id rather deive across town and pay more just to betreated with respect and honesty.

This store used to be so clean and efficient. Now you walk in the whole floor looks like it hasn’t been swept or mopped in weeks. They have two girls who are always sitting not doing thing and uncle needs to get a smile on her face. If you don’t like your job; change it! Some people aren’t made to work in a public setting! Clean that nasty store

7/12 around 6pm or so went in there with my daughter & a blonde women mopping was very rude when we asked her a question.. I told her she didn't have to be rude and started walking out and as we walked out she said : don't come back.
Trust me I won't be back. I get it we all have bad days or whatever but it's sad that you take it out on customers. I will make sure Everyone I know don't go there. And hopefully manager realizes what kind of people they have working there.
If you're not a customer service person or like dealing with people don't work there!! Not surprised as other reviews here say the same thing. Manager do better.

The Hispanic lady that works at the Cafe is rude disrespectful and professionally racially profile a future employee and told her to her face that she wasn't going to get hired anyway. That lady doesn't know this employee or ever seen her before and to make that assumption I disgusting...do better Speedway

I was there around 1030 pm on 5 30 2024. Only one person working the registers & the store was packed. He was gd ing & f bombing all o er the place. I didn't appreciate that at all its unacceptable no matter what he was rude & inpatient. The manager was there but not helping at all & didn't say a word about the guys attitude. What's going on? Used to be a good store. Not any more.
