Visited this Zaxby’s in Shelbyville on 1/5/25 around 7:00 PM. Food was cold, and the overall experience was frustrating. The manager clearly didn’t seem to care—half of the dining room was shut down, apparently just so they wouldn’t have to clean it. That forced all customers to sit crammed into one small area. No explanation, no apology, zero concern for customers. Definitely not the level of service I expect. Won’t be back.

I placed an in store pickup order, I got there on time but my food was all cold and soggy, i got extra seasoned fries and they were barley seasoned at all, on one of my chicken finger plates i ordered a extra toast instead of coleslaw and got no second toast. They gave me absolutely zero sauces, no sauce for my fried pickles, white cheddar bites or even the cheesecake bites or with my two chicken finger meals. Therefore, safe to say the chicken was kinda dry. I’d say if you want Zaxbys, just go to a different location.

Apparently this restaurant is hurting so bad for money that the owner “rips their staff a new one” whenever they hand out extra seasoning salt.
Also, when I asked for extra fries instead of slaw, I barely even got one serving of fries.
They only have 4 people working, including the cooks, and they did not get my order right.
You would think if they needed the money, they would try for better service so that I will return to this location… guess they don’t have that part figured out yet.
And the app wasn’t working for this location.

I had a Door Dash Order with fingers, extra toast, slaw and fries. The order arrived with cold and very dry fingers, no sauce, no slaw and no fries. Only the toast and tea was fresh. Very frustrated with an order I paid extra to get. I will not order from here again.

The worst Zaxbys location. They are not upholding the quality of the franchise here. The food never tastes good. Last time the chicken tenders were not cooked all the way. This time traditional wings are small and overcooked so it's like chicken wing jerky. Disgusting. I'm never wasting my money here again.

Perfect place to go as long as you’re okay with none of your order being correct, even after being sent back twice, and not getting any of the extras you paid for.

Was headed to a early event and needed a good morning meal and I was not disappointed with Zaxbys everything we ordered was fresh and hot!!

Worst zaxby’s to go to. I’ve tried it multiple times. I quit getting a large fries there because it’s never more unless you take it back up there and ask for more. Got fried pickles and half of the order was stuck to each other so most of them were soggy. My wife got a chicken sandwich said her buns were more crunchy than her chicken. I liked the one in Smyrna that we use to live by but I think I’m done with this one.
