11/09/25 Visted this beautiful spot as a reward after wonderful cold day out on the water. Fish and chips with a side of Mac N Cheese was exactly what this Georgia boy needed for his 5 and half hour drive home. The staff were warm and welcoming on a cold day! Definitely the right place at the right time!

The food was wonderful. It was a bit slower than some places but we were not in a hurry. We sat in the outdoor area and watched boats. The orders were not all perfect. Not a big deal. They plan to be open on weekends for at least the warmer weather. I'd go back.

I have anaphylaxis allergies to certain spices. The waitress so so kind and helpful trying to help me order something that literally wouldn't kill me and the cooks were refusing to help her! They made her cry!!! Apparently the cooks dont realize that if I have an allergic reaction that the law suits would bankrupt the restaurants! Unbelievable that the kitchen staff would jepordize there customers and treat the waitress so poorly!

Very nice lakeside restaurant and bar to enjoy the afternoon and sunset. Staff and service were great. Prices reasonable. They also have Staff, when available, that will pick you up in golf cart if you have trouble getting around this large marina.

Service was ok. Great place by lake, nice views. Crab salad sandwich was good, the buttered toasted sourdough bread used for the sandwich helped make it so good. Chicken tacos were ok, had some bad chucks of chicken. Onion rings were good. The price of a double tall drink was way overpriced at $19.98 plus liquor tax.

Music to loud! Service was horrible! Food over priced and mediocre at best. Our server was a complete joke. Waited 45 mins for her to take drink order. Then another 45 for food order. Half our table finally got food and ate, before other half ever got food. Complete joke of a restaurant!
We had the fish and chips/ blackened shrimp. Shrimp were a little too salt y / but overall a great experience!!

Food was great. Prices are super ehh.. paying $4 for a cup of water is an absolute scam. The waitress was great though! And the food came out rather quick. But the initial greeting was terrible. I’ve worked in restaurants and the way the hostesses all bundle up and the immediate judgyness you get off rip is bad.. other than the hostess and price of water, great place!

I went down to the Twisted Oar today to check out the new menu. I ordered a Reuben sandwich with curly fries, a Philly cheesesteak with onion straws, ground beef nachos and fish and chips with Mac-n-cheese and potato salad. I was extremely pleased with every single item!! I ate half of each dish and really have one favorite….. ALL OF IT! Each item was prepared as it should be and tasted great! It’s a bit of a walk to the restaurant but gold carts help with that. I suggest more signage and one with a phone number to possibly call the cart service. Other than that I’m looking forward to their pizza oven coming online for great pizza. Next time for sure!! The staff is over the top kind and helpful! I’ll definitely be back soon!!
