It's like a school cafeteria. Special of the day was chicken and dressing. You went to counter and told server what you wanted, she put on plate & handed it to you. It was all ok.

My husband ordered the breaded catfish. BEST he's ever had.
3years later. We had the grilled lightly seasoned catfish special with 2 sides. Still best we've ever had.

We were out on an excursion
and stumbled upon this off the beaten path, (On the far side of town) restaurant. What a gem it was. Great food, great customer service. Very friendly and inviting, great small town feeling. It's one of Smithville's finer places, in my opinion. I really enjoyed my baked fish,onion ring. The coleslaw was off the chain. The waitress was very proficient. I definitely would recommend this restaurant to both friends, family, and newcomers....
