So I work in the same shopping center as this location. Went there for lunch well called in and order for lunch. When I went to pick it up the girl who was standing there was extremely friendly well one of them. The lady who took my order was extremely rude and short. Told me when the order would be ready and I was trying to finish my order so I only got half of my meal because she hung up on me. I picked up what I ordered but do to this little white girl that works there and her attitude I will not be ordering from this location again. How the food taste is yet to be determined.

The caldo de res was fantastic! Handmade tortillas, a huge split marrow bone, and chunks of chayote. It made my day! The chilaquiles were muy rico también. the folks who run the place are total sweethearts. Such a treat. Definitely going back!

This quaint hidden gem in Smithville completely exceeded my expectations. The service was great. She was very helpful with the menu. I ordered the grilled chicken with fried okra and fried squash. The chicken was seasoned beautifully and it was probably the juiciest chicken I have ever had. The okra and squash were good too. They were very crisp and fresh. They serve breakfast and lunch. They have some of the classics like burgers, chicken sandwiches etc but also have an authentic Mexican cuisine also. I'll include the menus on this review. We will definitely be back!

We moved to Tazewell in June and have made this a frequent weekly dinner. We love everything we have eaten there. The tamales are awesome as are the tacos and tostadas. The chicken fajitas are really good too! My favorite is the Apollo Fundido-the grilled pineapple added into this dish on rice is delicious. We like to go on Fridays because we get free fried ice cream at dinner time. Highly recommended! My husband often enjoys the burritos!

Trying out places to eat after moving here. This is far from great Mexican food. When I cut into my Mexican pizza it had liquid all in it. Chips were stale. Tamale had chicken in it, never in my 49 years have heard of a tamale with chicken. Tacos had no seasoning on the meat.
