My oldest son lives in Smithville and just had a birthday. I contacted Smithville Donuts requesting delivery of a dozen Old Fashion, aka Cruellers, his favorite since he was a boy. I'm in Virginia so was unable to deliver them myself. They went above and beyond to help me make this happen!! And a little bird told me that the donuts he received were simply delicious!! Thank you Smithville Donuts!!
I personally never been there myself unfortunately but I heard from a friend they were good and it is a nice mom and pop donut shop a local joint as it were so the only reason I'm not giving the food five stars it's because I personally never ate there I'll gladly change this review when I have ate their donuts ? but far is everything else my friend basically said they had great service and atmosphere he also said the food was great but I'd rather judge that...
A great little spot for some delicious donuts! They have varied and great selection. They even have a few hot and cold sandwich options! My personal favorite is the cream cheese pastry. Their cinnamon roll and apple fritter are both excellent options as well.Service- The owners and their staff are extremely friendly. Each and every time I go there they always go out of their way to accommodate and help in every possible way.Food- Every option from their menu that I have tried...
