This is one of those Taco Bell/KFC hybrid freestanding restaurants. In small towns like Smithville, I usually receive good customer service by friendly employees. By contrast, I recently had a job that required a lot of travel in the US. Almost without exception, in large cities and urban areas around Chicago, New York, most large cities in California, service was horrible! Not just Taco Bell. There were a few rare exceptions, but 90% of the interactions I had with employees...

I am so happy to report that their are some gluten free options that my kids actually enjoy. Of course you have the regular hard shell taco, and we leave off the cheese and sour cream for dairy free. Also, my littles love the Doritos Loco Tacos, and the protein bowl. We all love the protein bowl. And last but not least, this crew seems more competent and capable that some fast food places in town, and besides that they are usually very polite and friendly. FINALLY some young people...
