Another good meal at the Sligo Wheelhouse. Cheese fries, cole slaw, salads and fish tacos good eats. Fish tacos could have had more seasoning. Katherine and other servers friendly and attentive, great ambiance and bar. Sarah and other dock staff enthusiastic and competent. Highly recommend.

Marina restaurant with dockside access & pub food menu. Good local beer draft options. Not romantic, but excellent food & friendly server. Worth going out of your way to try. Definitely try the fried green bean appetizer: Not-amazing sauce, but some shake of one of the 2 types of hot sauce on the table can fix that, & the green beans are terrific.
Vegetarian options: Vegetarians would mostly have to order a la carte, but they wouldn't go away hungry.

I was in the service industry for quite a bit, so I am always lenient and understanding when service is bad because we are all only human. And I was understanding, until I absolutely could not justify it anymore. This place… astonishingly bad. The food was good, nothing special. This is a place that is only in business because people out on the water get hungry, and it’s convenient. That just doesn’t seem fair to be so supported by the local Lake community, only to show no care at all. Mind you this is a small space inside, so our table and everything was easily in clear view for the server, bartender, and I’m assuming manager. Our drinks were brought to our table, and never refilled or checked on. The food was dropped off and we were left. We ate our entire meal without being checked on once. I tried to get the attention of the bartender, or manager, or server.. anyone, in a polite way. It seemed as though they purposely looked around us and ignored us. The manager seemed to laugh and talk and have a great time while his server was struggling. The bartender seemed unkind based on hearing her in conversation with the tables around us. The atmosphere was one where you can truly feel the absolute lack of care for customers, and that was the reason I am writing this review. It took forever to get our check and get out of there, while having a toddler that was ready to go. This place was not busy, at all during all of this. There was one other table inside with us, and maybe one or two on the patio. We paid right at $80 for our meal before tip (my fiancé, myself, and our toddler), which we were perfectly fine with. But in the end, it felt like we paid $80 just to be completely upset with our experience. I love supporting local and small businesses, but when they show complete lack of care, I cannot justify it. Hope this review helps others when deciding where to eat and spend their money.

We drove in from Chattanooga yesterday to check on some property we purchased & decided to have lunch here. All 3 staff members we engaged with were super friendly & our server was very attentive. All the food was delicious. The lemon pepper wings were hot & juicy, the grilled grouper sandwich was tasty & filling, my Husband would have liked more meat on his philly but it had good flavor & a soft roll. We liked the hush puppies & onion rings too. The Coconut Splash Margarita was one of the best drinks I've ever had. If we had more time, I would have ordered another. We really enjoyed it & look forward to returning.

The food to me was actually pretty good. Pretty skimpy on the sides.the service wasn't what it could be. The place seemed kinda dead to me. Granted it's not summer. I'll give it another try sometime. Not the worst place I've ever been .one thing is for sure...get rid of the paper cups and plastic eating utensils. This is a terrible look.

Every Saturday they do a Shrimp boil. It was very tasty. Bartender was awesome.
