Best dirty chai in town. Also the staff is super friendly and accommodating. I come here weekly and love giving my money to a small business vs Starbucks.

We had been going to this shop since day 1 of them opening. Our family and several friends families would go once a week for well over a year. But we were told very rudely last week by the owners, our business was no longer welcome. They claimed our kids "destroyed" the board games, even though we always made sure they were put away before we left. We have always made sure all trash was thrown away, tables cleaned up with chairs pushed in. Management claims our kids "would run all over the place" and the most they would do was "run" to get a new game to play after putting the other up. Typical kids in what we thought was a kid friendly place...obviously for well over a year it was never a problem. When things apparently became a problem they never had the decency to talk to us about anything. Within 10 mins after walking out of the shop I was completely blocked from their Facebook page and had to get a friend to comment on a picture of our kids (the ones we got kicked out for having such bad behavior) that they themselves posted back in August advertising their Cali's sundae.. a $36 sundae which we paid for in points because we had spent so much money there! We loved their ice cream and the younger girls working there have always been so sweet and very welcoming. They have always been so sweet to our children and never even acted so much as annoyed with them. Which is why we always went back. The owners lost some very loyal customers and quite honestly a lot more than that. Word of mouth can be a positive or a negative for a business and everyone we have talked to are floored b/c our kids are so well behaved. Most say they will never return either if that's how the owners will treat their loyal customers. We will be trying Jenartys on front street for our weekly ice cream date!

We went to Cali's for our farewell brunch after our wedding, not only did Jason accept my reservation for 40 people, but they decorated the tables with beautiful flowers for us. The food was delicious, and everyone had a great time. This place is really cute and family owned and run! Smyrna, get out and support your local business, and try Cali's for yourself!

Well, this is an interesting place, and I liked it. But there are some interesting items about the place. I'll first rave about the food I ate, and then tell the story about the joint. "Fried biscuits and gravy" caught my eye and I ordered it. It was wonderful. They may have been leftover biscuits, but I don't care. It was great. The platter caught the attention of a neighboring diner. They dice the biscuits into 1" x 1" sections and those are fried. I have no idea what fat they fry them in, but It was great. Gravy was great tasting. I would not call it "watery", but it was thin, but it was obvious by taste that there was a high fat content via cream present. There was real sausage and a lot of it. Addressing my curious dining neighbors, I recommended the deal and suggested they just order the gravy and eat it off a napkin. I loved the decaf coffee. It was tasty. Bad news is that today, they stopped offering "Donut Country" donuts from Murfreesboro. They do bake their own pastries and they looked great. Another customer ordered a biscuit with meat, egg, and cheese. That biscuit was piled so with ingredients it belied the best adverts you may have seen. They advertise themselves as a creamery, but they make no ice cream there. I was there in the morning, did not want ice cream, but perused the offerings. They look good. Decorations on the wall were wonderful. Many antique adverts donned the walls and were fun to read while waiting for my meal. Oh, and also, they have board games if you want to just hang out.

Always delicious and a pleasant experience. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Give this place a try, you'll be glad you did! Prices are a little high, but it's worth it. The coffee is my favorite thing on the menu.

Such a cute little place to enjoy some pastries, ice cream, coffee, and snacks! There are mainly Jains around this area so it's nice to have more of a local presence. The cafe is cozy and they host a lot of events! Fun for the whole family or just relaxing place to come and study.
