I did get falsely charged for something I didn’t get (chilli cheese fries instead of Cajun) but the guy was polite and did get us regular fries free of charge. I understand that’s a cashier mistake, and everything from the fry station felt really fresh but the wraps were just alright. I do love the lobby.

I’m a long time customer of cookout (and former employee). I just visited your location in Smyrna, TN on a road trip and this was my “Big Double Burger” I received. It looks like you took the “small burger” (not the regular) and cut in half to make two patties. I understand things have changed with inflation, but this is absolutely ridiculous to charge me $8.77 for this tray!
I didn’t unwrap my burger until I was already back on the interstate and couldn’t turn around or I would have brought it the attention of an employee. There was also a problem with the drink machines not tasting normal in the lobby and I had to ask them to fill up my drink from the drive thru machine.
I don’t live near cookouts anymore so usually coming here is a treat, but this was a very disappointing experience!

The best spot for lunch along Sam Ridley Pkwy. The bushes and landscaping is anyways nice and parking lot has ample space. The food and service is always top notch as well

This used to be my favorite burger place. A few years ago, they reduced the size of the burger patties, but on my most recent visit this past Saturday, the experience was especially disappointing. I ordered a double burger and received what appeared to be a small single patty. The burger was about the size of what you would expect from a McDonald’s Happy Meal.
Unfortunately, I didn’t return it because I was already back on the highway. The employee at the drive-through window also seemed distracted by activity going on in the background, which may have contributed to the issue.
I still like Cook Out overall, but I’m disappointed with the direction the restaurant has taken and the noticeable decline in portion size and attention to detail.

Manager was VERY rude! My boyfriend always orders “fries with cheese” as a side in his tray and they never have cheese on them. He also orders an additional side of fries with cheese that DO always have the cheese. Regardless if the order is not being heard correctly, the workers are not confirming the orders (they don’t have a screen that shows your order) and then the manager throws a fit whenever something is said about it. He ripped the receipt off my boyfriend’s bag, literally ripping the bag open. This aggressiveness is unnecessary and unprofessional. He just wanted cheese on his fries!

The service was terrible, parking lot was dirty, the employees were very rude- especially the manager, and the food was below par. This particular location is very skimpy with the food, I understand it’s fast food and you can’t put but a certain amount, but this is ridiculous. Ordered chicken quesadillas and received them full of cheese with like 2 strands of shredded chicken on each. Talked to the manager and they said that’s how they come?? Pretend chicken quesadillas??

Been here a couple times. Love the food, always on point. However, the times I’ve went inside, there is a specific worker there that obviously hates their job and makes it my problem with their attitude. I’m not saying they need to jump for joy when I enter the building, but a smile would help. No one likes unfriendly staff it makes you feel like a nuisance for even going out. Probably will just stick to the drive through for now on.
