Meat counter isn't staffed with a butcher and shelves are bare and it was on 1 p.m.! The Kroger on Sam Ridley is the most understaffed and poorly managed Kroger in the area. Publix is fully staffed and has full shelves. it isn't a labor shortage issue. complained several times to Kroger management and through their surveys and Kroger's response, if any is given, is "what are you going to do?"

I cannot believe that during this trying time of uncertainty of a virus, this store has an open salad bar and olive bar. No gloves to use and this food open in the midst of people all around!

The Kroger here in Smyrna does not require a mask. Not safe. Walmart and other stores in town do.

Cashier preferred to talk to other cashier will i waited for her to finish. They were discussing vacation days. Wasn’t very nice when i tried to scan my card (the self reader wasn’t working). Had to bag my own groceries. Might want to have some customer service training...for both news and old employees. This store also needs a good cleaning.

I just had a wonderful shopping experience.....until I got to the register. The line was short. But the service there left something to be desired. I stood and listened to employees interrupting ringing up my purchases to gossip about work. The bagger just stood there. .....the another guy came up and started “chatting” with the cashier, and decided to try to give me the next customer’s 12 pack while I finally was asking the bagger to please finish up and get me out of the next customer’s way. Fix that problem and you have a 5 star store!

Since the inception of the Kroger Card...granted it’s for inventory control...this local store is way under stocked. They have been out of the large Private Selection Summer Sausage for over a week...no more Becks Beer...no Kroger brand Mini peanut butter filled pretzels, no salad toppings in Sliced Almonds with Cranberries, no large Hershey Kisses, the ice cream shelves were out of stock, flies in the bread area, food in the aisles, store generally dirty in appearance.

This was first issue I ever had with the bakery, I came in 4 days before I needed the cake and she said it would be ready the way i asked for it and it wasn't. The lady there did her best for a 15 min request cause I couldnt come back. I was very thankful for that. And the manager did give me half off for my troubles. I wasnt complaining to get anything. I was just upset because I never get that kind of service at Kroger. So I complimented that lady that made the cake quickly and complained about the one who lied and didnt do her job. Krogers the only place I get groceries because its so close and convenient.

Large store. Can be very crowded and disorganized at times. Salad bar during daytime hours. Staff at Publix is nicer, but prices here tend to be better.

NEVER will I ever shop at this Kroger again!! The produce was in poor condition and the shelves were not stocked. The line to checkout was over a 30 minute wait which is ridiculous at 9:30pm.
