No one at the registers with self scan lines backed up. One person to help the one scan area. Half of the doors would not open. Unboxed items everywhere blocking the isles and ability to get to items on shelves.

RACIST!!! Went to Kroger today on Sam Riley in Smyrna, TN. They had chicken that was sitting out for an hour and 45 minutes. They lady in Deli...Pam told us it would be ready in 30 minutes. Meaning 12:15. Went back at 12:30 and she told me it want be out til 1:00. A Causican woman went and ask for the chicken and she gave her a box. I asked for the manger....Walter, Big Walt is what they call him. He tells me I don't know why she wouldn't give it to you. He ask her and she says, it don't go out til 1:00. But the Causican lady got hers before 1:00. So we go back and forth and another African American lady walks by and said they did me the same way. Big Walt standing there NOT SAYING A WORD! Needless to say, me and the other African American didn't get chicken but the Causican lady did! R A C I S M!!!! It's TRULY STILL EXIST!!

First of all this place smells gross and looks gross always. I ordered online since it's so weird there. 1223488194646754702 that's my order number. 2hours late i had to call twice just to be told "it'll be another hour". They did not proactively reach out to me or send updates...like they say they will. This Kroger is garbage don't waste your time or money here.

Meat counter isn't staffed with a butcher and shelves are bare and it was on 1 p.m.! The Kroger on Sam Ridley is the most understaffed and poorly managed Kroger in the area. Publix is fully staffed and has full shelves. it isn't a labor shortage issue. complained several times to Kroger management and through their surveys and Kroger's response, if any is given, is "what are you going to do?"

After placing a pick up order I opened the bag of grapes I purchased to find a SNAIL in the bag. I called the store to complain and expected at least an offer of a refund or at least an apology. Instead I got told "we'll it's a fresh product what do you expect". This was supposed to be a manager. I do NOT expect to find a living animal in my produce.....

The staff was so helpful and courteous this morning. I was smiling and floating down the aisles. I usually detest grocery shopping.

This location sells rotten and expired chicken. We bought Kroger brand chicken legs on 7/4 with an expiration of 7/8 only to open them 7/6 and the smell cleared the kitchen. The chicken was gray! The cloth under the chicken was gelled over with blood stains. This is the second time we've bought rotten and expired chicken from this location. The meat department needs to pay attention to what they're selling as it's obvious they're changing expiration dates on their raw chicken items.

I'd rather shop here than Wal-Mart but they really need a new spot! This location is too small for the area. Also, get new rugs for the front, first impressions always last the longest. Customer service is not like it use to be here or anywhere else. The 10 and 5 foot rule still exists, right? Department leads do not acknowledge customers so why should the staff... hmmm! I'll still shop here, they just need a few upgrades internally!

This review is for the Kroger gas station. Came here at the end of November to fill up the gas tank. Even though a lot of customers were getting gas, waiting for a pump didn't take long because there are many gas pumps at this Kroger gas station. It looked like all of the gas pumps were working. The gas stations is relatively clean. I noticed that this gas station has the most outdoor vending machines and refrigerators that I've ever seen.

What a dump! Filthy! You'd think with the COVID delta variant running ramped, they'd try and clean this store up. Every buggy was had trash in it. Just gross. Maybe the manager is from Bordeaux area! I usually shop Food Lion or Walmart pick-up or even Publix. But everyone seem to be out of kings Hawaiian rolls except for Kroger. So in I went. Just don't care for filth. Makes you not want to touch anything! At least they had my Kings Hawaiian Rolls

We were on vacation and visiting family in Indiana. I was so gals to see a Kroger store again. We moved to Florida several years ago and there is NO Kroger in Florida. I just like the value and quality of their products, especially their own spaghetti sauce. It's so thick you have to start it with a spoon! You don't have a plate full of water from any other name brand I've tried or used in the past. I wish I could order it on line and have it shipped to us. But I can't do that either.

It's really not Kroger's fault totally, I blame the city Smyrna why this Kroger's sucks so bad. This Kroger's never has anything in stock and it's always a mad house at any time of day, but when you keep building Residentials, townhomes and apartments with barely any restaurants or other stores it's hard for Kroger's to keep up, same with Publix. Smyrna was designed for 50,000 ppl but 200,000 are squeezing in.

I cannot believe that during this trying time of uncertainty of a virus, this store has an open salad bar and olive bar. No gloves to use and this food open in the midst of people all around!
