I ordered head using the crystals app that way my order would be ready when I got there. I went through the drive-through and was greeted promptly and told to pull around to the drive-through window. I was then handed my order and I pulled off to check my food. I immediately realized that the crystals were not plain like I had ordered. They had onion, mustard and pickle on them. All which I had removed when I placed the order on the app. Everything else was correct so it was no big deal. I pulled back through the drive-through and gave the two crystals back to the employee and told her these are supposed to be plain. She did not apologize. She just took them from my hand and close the window. A couple of minutes later she came back with a new bag so I took it and immediately checked and once again they were not playing. Both had a piece of cold cheese slapped on them. When I placed the order originally, I did not select cheese crystals. I just selected plain original crystals. I didn’t even bother driving back through the drive-through. I just took the cheese off and threw it away. The girl working the drive-through through was not friendly at all. She did not apologize and even when she gave me the second order of crystals and I told her thank you she just stared at me. I realize this is fast food so you get what you pay for but it’s really not that difficult to be friendly especially if you are working the drive-through. I worked in fast food for over 10 years and it’s not that hard to be friendly to your customers. Especially when you get their order wrong and even more so if the customer is not being rude about it. I was extremely understanding and I was not hateful or rude to her. I even told her thank you even though my order was messed up not once but twice and she couldn’t even respond with your welcome or I’m sorry for the mistake. I give this restaurant a zero out of 10 and more than likely I will not be back.

It's getting hard to find Krystal these days and this unit in Smyrna TN offers good old fashioned food and great customer service. I grew up enjoying these burgers and always enjoy the treat of a drive through meal with my wife and family. Highly recommend.

Just had the best restaurant experience in a long time at this Krystal. Stopped in on my Vespa w/ my 10 yr old grandson to pick up some food to take home. Chatted with the most awesome young man ever, who came out from the back to take his break. He was so nice and friendly and polite. The food was great, BTW, but being treated so well was the highlight of my day.

I’m really disappointed the last two times I ordered sackfuls of 12 and 24. The were slopped together buns soggy from the grease from burgers. I paid too much to get this kind of food. The fries were not cooked thoroughly they were limp. I’m not going to order there any longer. If I have to go to Murfreesboro so be it.
Update: 07/28/2025 The management sent me an email on 07/25/2025. Of course, I don’t look at my emails everyday. I saw it on 07/25/2025 it had a code for me to order food. They sent the email around noon. It expired that night at 01 minute after midnight. The moral of the story. They tried and failed to do the right thing. Krystal will see no more of my money. They really didn’t care to fix the problem. I didn’t do this for free food. I did this for them to correct the problem.
