Had the Cuban. Delicious. Very meaty with real ham not sandwich slices. Bread is made in-house and is delish. Sesame coleslaw was a hit too.👍

I went AFTER the Nashville Scene Taco week, and somehow they still had the braised beef taco. As expected, it was amazing! I was warmly greeted, and assisted with the menu. I love their ramen and hot chicken.

This location has a very calm vibe . The food is freshly made and has a nice selection. I got the hot chicken tacos with medium- now I want to try the hot hot ones! They were delicious. The staff is very friendly and the owner has done an amazing job at creating a great menu and atmosphere .plus they have coffee and draft beer!

Wheelchair accessibility: The back entrance allows both wheelchair and step accessibility from the parking lot located directly behind the restaurant .

I have gone to the Antioch Subculture location for years and had to check out the new Smyrna location while I was in the area. The staff, food, and atmosphere at Subculture is unmatched. Anything you order will be amazing but some of my favorites are the hot chicken tacos, hot chicken sandwich, and the burger. Don’t forget to get a side of their aioli to dip your fries in! So glad to have been recommended this spot years ago. Congrats on the new location!

The girl taking our order acted like she rather be eating a dirt sandwich than working. I was not impressed with the menu (but that was on me for not reviewing beforehand) I tried to get the tacos with flour tortillas but was told I could not so I just ordered fries. My son got the chicken sandwich which he said was good. All employees were on their cell phones, even the guy in the back, who I assume was the cook (we were sitting at the kitchen door). This is not a typical restaurant where someone comes and asks you if you need anything else, refills, etc.
Old Lady Note: Between the TV and the music I could hardly hear anything so have a convo was Vertually impossible.

Well, the Subculture in Nolensville is the best. This one it has to improve a lot of things, the carne azada and sandwich bread were cold, the meat was not cooked well, probably they should aske me the termn of the meat and meat also was cold not cooked there ( a but watery), I was expecting better than the Nolensville 😐

Wheelchair accessibility: They do have it

I am a little biased as my wife and I have known the owners (Pablo & Javi) for years.

However, they put family traditions on full display with their food.

1. The SC Burger is award winning and my personal favorite.

2. The Hot Chicken Anything is fresh cooked, perfectly flavored and seasoned.

3. All or their bread and tortillas are made in house with a unique flavor.

If I was on death row, this would be my final meal.

Will always spend my money here.

This place is just what Smyrna needed. Went for the tacos for taco week and they were delicious! I would love to see the homemade salsa stay on the menu!

P.S.: I believe some of the negative reviews on here were for the previous restaurant! <3 Also don’t be intimidated by the parking, there’s plenty in the back!

Best hot chicken in the area! It has a balance of heat and spicy flavors that ensures the chili heat is not overpowering. When combined with the slaw on a taco or sandwich the result is a combination of flavorful chicken with refreshing slaw. As a tea drinker, the tea drinks are great including the maté tea which I like unsweetened with the Alfajor cookie. Alfajor is two tea biscuit type cookies on top and bottom with a dulce de lech (carmel) layer between each cookie. The sweetness of the cookie pairs well with the strong flavor and tannins of the tea. Insider tip: if Melissa is working ask for "Melissa's maté" for a unique blend of teas.
