Great sub shop. Old school and no frills with fancy environment but what it lacks in aesthetics it makes up ten fold in a good sub. Fresh sliced meat and cheese. Fresh crisp veggies and totally willing to customize whatever you like. 10/10 times would go here over subway, JJ, or JM. Locals know this is the jam, if you are unsure…don’t be.

Went to eat there tonight after I got off from work it was 8:20 the door had closed sign on so I ask if they was open the girl said yes so we went in ordered our food then was told that we could not eat in dinning room that they had already cleaned it...that we had to take out food to go.. finally talked the guy into letting us eat there...he was not happy at all..my favorite place to eat but he made this night bad.

We have been customers of SSII for probably close to 35 years now. Staff is always friendly and food is consistent. Meats are sliced fresh, right in front of you - deli style. The roast beef is a must-try. They have a wide variety of options and will even do trays for your parties. SSII is a Smyrna staple and this little charming place has something for everyone.

My sandwich was so good. It was my first time there and they probably thought I was rude cause I had an emergency call about family and was on the phone when I was telling them what to put on it. Sorry... But when I got my food to my destination, I was awesome! I got just a regular sub with turkey, ham, capicola, and cheese with the works. The bread was also phenomenal. It was banging. Thank you.
