Moved from Illinois a few years ago and have had Mexican food from five different places near Smyrna. All have been very disappointing… On a whim, we pulled into this parking lot area off of a fairly busy Lowry St. for this “hole in the wall” with a few park benches next to the shack where they make the food. By far, this is the BEST Mexican food we have had so far! While I still have found a place that offers Cochinita Pibil, everything we’ve had at Taco Station has been excellent and I like knowing it is a small family restaurant and we get to support them. If you haven’t tried Taco Station, make the trip!

To be honest the food wasn’t good. I actually just picked up my food. I ordered mixed fajitas, chicken and cheese quesadilla, and rice with steak. This was my first time and decided to give it a chance because of the reviews. The rice and bean were seasoned maybe a little too much but the meat in each item wasn’t seasoned at all very bland no flavor. I’m disappointed. The customer service was good, the food seems fresh, but the main attraction (the meat/protein) just missed big time.
