I saw a recommended on my friend fb so decided to have date night. Very easy to make reservations on open table, you can call. We like the most is our server, she very knowledgeable about the menus, drinks, she went over everything l, give recommendations very attentive and make us feel very welcome. We order beef Wellington and tasting lamps and tasting duck, it was very good, they even make extra for my wife because they don’t want us leaving hungry( my wife eat little) I end up finish it for her. it was so nice of them. Order my old fashion and they make it right. Only thing we doesn’t like and probably it was. Not big deal is unpleasant smell of old building, if they can put a scent candle or scent machine it would solve the problem. Overall it a good experience, will come back for their wine tasting night.

What a gem!!!We have been to several "fine dining" restaurants in Nashville, but none have came close to the the quality of food and service that the Tasting Room has to offer!Sorry for the half eaten entre's, I am usually very vigilant about taking a picture before I indulge, but we were so enamored by the smells and visual appeal of our meals we couldn't resist but to dig in immediately. The veal porterhouse was excellent, the pork chop was amazing, and the beef wellington was spectacular ?What's really neat is that you can order tastings of other entre's and drinks which is really cool if you are interested but don't want to commit to a specific drink of entre.I highly recommend this high end restaurant for date night, special occasion, or just something different!

So we've visited this spot a few times before and fell in love with the tastings offered for such a great price and the pairing of wine. Last night became a disappointment once we saw that since the last time we were there they've changed the menu substantially and now everything is priced extremely high just like all of the other restaurants in Nashville. This little whole in the wall was going to be our monthly date night spot but now we have to find somewhere else as the price doesn't justify the quality of food.

Very good food overall. The pork belly potstickers were incredibly good. We enjoyed tastings of the filet mignon, chicken Marsala, and shrimp and grits. The mahi mahi was not good at all- none of us ate more than a bite of it. Overall a great experience, would definitely return.

i loved that they offered tastings, as i was afraid to commit to a whole entre and also couldn't decide which one i wanted. my husband and i split 5 tastings (which also came with 5 sides) and a Caesar salad and it was the perfect amount of food.

My fiance and I went to the Tasting Room for a Valentines dinner. We both really enjoy trying different things. We went the “tasting” route. It was wonderful! Even in small portions, the meats were cooked perfectly. Tender and juicy! Each meat tasting comes with a same of a side. We each got a salad and 3 tasting. We were stuffed. Our waitress was very informative and attentive! We will definitely be back!

Been to the Tasting Room a couple of times for wine tastings, but this was the first dinner date. My fiancée and I had a great evening. The food was cooked to perfection, but was not very hot when it was brought to us. The server also forgot to ask us if we were celebrating any event--we were celebrating a birthday and an anniversary. But we did enjoy ourselves regardless.

What a great place! If you haven’t been you are missing a real treat! We have needed a place like this in our community. Want a place to come and relax? Want a place that gives you an experience? The concept of tastings is fantastic. We tried each entree and side. The Wedge Salad is one of the best I have ever had. Each dish had a lovely presentation. The PorkBelly potstickers need to be on the market! Loved the light, crisp, exterior and delicious sauce to complement each one. Another favorite was the duck, prepared to perfection. I was pleasantly pleased with the basil pesto on the lamb. The interesting flavors in this restaurant are still on my mind. Consider a visit. You will NOT be disappointed!

Our party of 3 all chose the tasting menu, with a variety of the Coffee Crusted Duck, Filet Mignon, Port Tenderloin, Rack of Lamb, and Chicken Marsala. The vegetables were the carrots in hot honey sauce, Brussels Sprouts and Bacon, Sautéed Spinach, roasted potatoes. All were outstanding. We also had the Charcuterie Board as a starter, which was also excellent and just right for the three of us. Service was excellent, though we were there at peak and it was a bit slow.

We've had the pleasure of dining at the tasting room several times now. Each visit has been just as exceptional as the last. It is so nice to have this hidden culinary gem right here locally in Smyrna! This will definitely continue be one of our go to places for a fine dining experience.

Great night of wine tasting and trying out the upcoming items on the changing menu. Robert did a great job with the two menu items we tried last night and the pork chop was absolutely fantastic. Thank you to the entire staff that works great together.

This was a really great experience and some of the best food I've ever eaten. The Caesar salad was beyond AMAZING! I was told the tastings would be small but I found that it was more than filling, especially with the salad which was the best Caesar salad I've ever had in my 50 years of living. The singers set a very relaxed mood and I enjoyed all the songs they sang, many of which I was able to sing along with them. I will definitely be attending more of these events!

Me and my wife went for New Year's Eve. What a wonderful place. The wait staff was great the wine choices were on point. The food was outstanding! We plan on heading back soon.

We always enjoy eating at The Tasting Room. We had 2 sides each. The filet mignon( 1 for each of us), duck, and shrimp and pasta. All was very good but we were not a big fan of the duck but it was cooked nicely. If you like duck I think you would enjoy it. We each had a side of the sea scallops and they were delicious! Never have been disappointed at The Tasting Room. Casual and comfortable and great background music that allows for conversation. So nice to hav a restaurant that is not a chain.
