Alessandro is a wonderful man who speaks excellent English with a delightful Italian accent. His pastries are superb. Delicious and 100% authentic. Treat yourself to a tiny visit to Italy! 🇮🇹

Lovely little piece of Italy in southern Tennessee! Dan was incredibly welcoming and took the time to get to know us and to introduce all the items in the shop. He listened to our preferences and made recommendations based on what we liked and disliked. We even connected over having Yorkies (had to show photos)! We left with close to $80 worth of baked goods (including some treats for the dog!). While we haven't made it through everything just yet, I can personally speak for the limoncello bites, the gingerbread men, and the tiramisu. My mom said the Italian cream cake was lovely. I'm excited to try the della Nonna and shortcrust biscotti soon! Thank you for your hospitality, Dan. Here's to many years of Alessandro's in South Pittsburg.

Alessandro’s is on the main strip in old town. Alessandro showed us around and introduced us to his delicacies. It was obvious that he loved his Northen Italian heritage. He uses several of this grandmother’s recipes. His love for this small town and his passion for high quality baked goods is quite evident. There is a small indoor seating area for you to enjoy your treats.
He carries a nice variety of baked goods as well as other specialty items such as: cinnamon whipped honey, local organic honey, homemade dog treats, dark chocolate covered espresso beans, and cotton candy!

Visiting Alessandro’s bakery has become a weekly tradition, (more often if I’m lucky). I’ve learned to buy two of whatever I get because one will be gone before we’re home

What a delightful, memorable visit! My husband is of Italian heritage so we wanted to see what Alessandro’s had to offer. As we talked the subject came up regarding where they each were from in Italy. Alessandro said, “in the north”. I said my husband’s family was from Udine. An incredulous look came over Alessandro’s face! He said that’s where HE is from. (Who has ever heard of Udine??)
Before we left we bought mini cannolis, lemoncello cake and fig biscotti. All delicious!

Dan was the nicest guy I’ve met in awhile he was super charismatic and friendly. He gave us a tour around and explained everything to us and what they were made of then we had a conversation about Italy. I will definitely be back and the baked goods were terrific. 10/10 would recommend for all reasons!

A South Pittsburgh gem! ? The owner, Dan, is an Italian native with more southern hospitality than most good ole boys down the road. He greeted us with a warm welcome, carefully described each handmade baked good in the storefront and made us feel like friends. We walked out with $100 of his prized desserts and will be back. A MUST stop if you’re even remotely in the area.

My husband and I spotted this bakery while at the Cornbread Festival. We got some coffee and cannolis. They were delicious. We will definitely be back.

Visited here around Christmas when visiting my family and I was so pleasantly surprised. Cute little store, very friendly, and Delicious food! The BEST cannoli I've ever tasted. I hated cannoli - I always hated the shell and the filling just tasted like sugar to me. My brother tried their limoncello cannoli and I braved a bite - utter bliss! Citrus-y with the slightest hint of sweet. I was blown away! Definitely a must visit! I took some fig marmalade home!
