Last couple times we went the food was pretty bad. Kids working there obviously don’t care. I got fried okra that was burnt to a crisp. Might as well have given me salted pebbles. Chicken fingers were so over cooked my kid couldn’t chew them. Time before that the food was under cooked. Very inconsistent.

Here's why I gave only 1 star. Because when you take away the sauces that make your food eatable to start with and like everyone else raise your prices sky high, change menu options to try and cost the customer even more money for a petty couple pieces more and are yall so blind to the fact that captD's used to stay packed and now the crickets are even somewhere else because when you go to a dine in restaurant you want to be treated like your in a dine in restaurant not given everything in a bag because the employees don't want to wipe off trays or clean up after anyone and if your not convinced just check out how clean and neat the restrooms aren't. Lazy employees and price gauging and restrictions and sauces that make your food tolerable destroys business's... = crickets in the parking lot....just look at taco -b even worse service of all if you don't order from they're app or kiosk then they don't want your business and employees will treat you as such..maybe mandatory..who knows? Doesn't matter they're business has dropped off to..look for the cats and customers...you won't see so many and this is why.

Fish was good. The shrimp was hard and overcooked. The stuffed crabs were burnt. I don't understand why you would give this to a customer. You should want to give customers better quality than this.

My family always orders take- out and its delicious and crispy. I really like the malt vinegar on the crispy fish. The fish sandwich is a favorite for my parents. We love Sparta, Tn location.

Would not recommend this place at all. To start, the person taking my order sounded like he couldn’t care less about his job and to top it off, it sounded as if coworkers in the background were saying racial slurs and very offensive things. Second of all, the fish was very cold and seemed like it had been sitting out all day and the crab platter I got my husband was dry and had some hair in it. Very disappointing whenever he was hungry after a 12 hour shift. Do better!

Got a deluxe seafood platter, and it was so horrible. Fish swimming in oil deviled crabs were burnt, and no meat was left. The shrimp was so hard I couldn't eat it. Coleslaw seemed like it had sit all day. My husband's fish sandwich was like eating cooking oil. To pay $19.07, this was nothing but slop fit for a hog. Started calling at 5:30 pm and kept calling until 7:00 pm No one would pick up the phone.

I ordered 40 dollars worth of food and didn't even get half my order and I live in a different town it's not like I can just run right back then I tried to call like 10 times and noone answer Ed the phone smh
