It's so unfortunate that the food is very blan here. I thought I was just being sensitive to taste, but even my husband said something, and that never happens. We both couldn't even finish our food. He had a chimichunga with steak . It tasted like the comino shaker fell in it, but it had flavor. They use that white Monterey cheese. Yacate blah ?. I tried the Chile reno , nope ?♀️.The carnitas were cooked perfectly, but most of it was fat and fat without salt or any seasoning is yuck! The arroz y frijoles the same. NO calodo de pollo, little to no tomate, and I don't think they added salt to anything. It was like the beans were boiled, and that's it. I mean, if you've never eaten better Mexican food then I guess you wouldn't notice, but as a Mexican that grew up on it and knows the best places that serve bomb Mexican food I'd say it's a no for this place. I really was hoping for the best because the atmosphere on the patio overlooking the lake was perfect. My suggestion would be to go to El milagro in Cookeville with homemade tortillas. Another suggestion... hopefully, they read this, and you get an opinion from a person who knows the taste of Mexican food and ask them. Or get a cook back there that knows to come in and taste test everything. Kinda like you would for cake testing.

Loved the food and prices until today. They charged 11.99 each, rather than the advertised 9.99 each, for the steak burrito fajita and the two we ordered had less steak (little). They definitely should update their prices on this page and go back to using the portions they were before!

Absolutely love this place! We travel 20 min and pass 2 other mexican restaurants just to come here.. the pineapple fajitas and the chorizo cheese dip and chips are my favorite!

We love the great food, friendly and attentive service and the atmosphere of this gem of a restaurant on the plateau! Best authentic Mexican food and so affordable. Besides the great food they treat you like long lost family that’s come home! We’re grateful to have Casa Marina up on the mountain, between Sparta and Crossville!

Great people serve you quickly and with a smile. Food is good and you get alot for your $. Recommend for sure.
Went on Sunday the 29th of Oct. since any quality restaurants in our town of Crossville are closed. We arrived at around 3-4 p.m.......the only customers. Service was poor, food was hardly warm let alone hot and not that great taste wise. I don't know why I left a tip...out of habit I guess. I suggest you just quietly go out out of business.

The food is always delicious and consistent. The owner and employees are very friendly and hard workers. I would recommend this place for great food and atmosphere!!
A short drive from Crossville and worth every mile. Best Mexican cuisine on the plateau. Fresh ingredients, dishes cooked to order and excellent staff round out this hidden gem in Bon Air. Bring Fido. Outside seating is amazing overlooking a small lake. Penne' pasta dishes with an eclectic flair sets this restaurant apart of the others. Ya'll come.

My friends found this hidden gem a few weeks ago. “Best food, and most eclectic dishes they’ve ever had.” Peaked my interest enough to visit this past weekend. Bring Fido. Outdoor seating overlooking a lake with Moonpie was extra special. Compliments to the chef who delivered our dinner right to the table. Each dish was painstakingly crafted and picture perfect. Great presentation, humbling personalized service from the entire staff. I had an amazing shrimp dish, Acapulco shrimp, featuring sautéed mushrooms in a cheese sauce. My BFF had chicken fajitas cooked with pineapple. She loved it. Their salsa is amazing. Made with fresh tomatoes, and onions right from the garden. At least it tasted like it. Full bar menu for those who imbibe.
