We immediately noticed the donuts were flat and really small, not fluffy, or risen at all. They looked like fluffy pancakes. The flavor, however, was very good. Maybe we went on an off day, but I was definitely expecting better presentation and eye appeal. My son lpved the ham and cheese croissant.

I was introduced to ch doughnuts yrs ago and I've made the 30 min drive on multiple occasions bc they are worth it. Today we got there as they were still in the process of putting out their doughnuts and my chocolate cover sprinkled doughnut was still warm. I really wasn't sure if I would like it but omg it made me love CH even more. Now I'll be trying to get up earlier and earlier just to get another doughnut as delicious as that one.

It’s been years since my partner and I lived in Sparta and we often mention making the almost 2hr haul there just for these donuts. Even in Murfreesboro/Nashville area there’s nothing like them (or their croissants, yall they are to die for). The owners are the sweetest people, and one of these days my husband and I are going to have a day off together and introduce our toddler to these light and heavenly creations (and then have to handle her wanting them all the time lol).
