We really wanted to love this place. Our AirBNB was nearby and the building, the staff, the setting were all adorable. You walk in and it gives Cracker Barrel vibes (in a good way) with a little retail area and ice cream bar. The food, however, just wasn’t good, with the exception of the baked potatoes, and they were fine. I had a cheeseburger & fried pickles and my friend got the chicken tenders. This was the best find. The food was delicious and so smoky, the sauce was so flavorful and just the right amount of sweetness. We had a big party with 5 adults, two seven year olds and two under two. They had several large tables to choose from which was so nice that we didn’t need to rearrange anything to all sit together. Highly recommend! The only thing that didn’t go great was that the cashier at the food counter must’ve been new, which is not at all a “problem”...
Such a great find! We had been out all morning hiking the local waterfalls and were looking for some lunch to fuel up for our afternoon hikes. We drove by this cute red barn perched on a hill just outside of Burgess State Park and smelled something delicious and we had to stop. We ordered the burgers, BLT, potato salad, ranch bean and sweet tea. Everything was delicious! The ladies behind the counter were so friendly and the service was quick and efficient.
