We found this little old building. Walked in and saw five booths with tape on the seats.and a counter with round stools.there was a sweet ladie,and a big bearded man sitting in the booth next the kitchen. I asked if the served. Asked about the place.she siad the place has been around since the 50'S. We ordered our food,she went into the kitchen. Then came out with some wandafull burgers. We will be back to have Mary cook for us again . If you ever go through Sparta,Tennessee. You should stop in and have Mary cook for you, you'll be happy you did.we were. Thank-you Mary

My wife and I visited Sparta and we happened to find this little place as we walked the square. Our sever and cook, Mary was gracious, courteous and a good cook. Great value for some really good food. If you’re wanting good food, good service and feel like you stepped back in time, this is your place.
One of the best burgers in the area. The restaurant is a little shabby but their health score is a 94. Our burger’s were cooked perfectly and they even toasted the buns. They also have crinkle cut French fries which are our personal favorites. The soft drinks are in cans but they only charge 1 dollar per can. Their prices are very reasonable.
