Everything about this little restaurant is ideal for someone who wants good food and to take a step back in time. The lady serving us was very nice and friendly. Not many places like the Sparta Grill are left.
We found this little old building. Walked in and saw five booths with tape on the seats.and a counter with round stools.there was a sweet ladie,and a big bearded man sitting in the booth next the kitchen. I asked if the served. Asked about the place.she siad the place has been around since the 50'S. We ordered our food,she went into the kitchen. Then came out with some wandafull burgers. We will be back to have Mary cook for us again . If you ever go through Sparta,Tennessee....
My wife and I visited Sparta and we happened to find this little place as we walked the square. Our sever and cook, Mary was gracious, courteous and a good cook. Great value for some really good food.
