We ordered a Boston butt and turkey for a get together and the food was phenomenal!! Everyone kept asking all night long where it came from! Can’t wait to go back and try more food!! No wonder they always sell out!

Every single guest was in awe at how absolutely delicious everything was! We had enough food for Easter Dinner too. All of our guests just could not express enough how great the food was.
The pies were also fantastic. Well worth the price.

My family and I just moved to Tennessee and I’ve been looking for a great barbecue restaurant. Templeton barbecue may have the best spare ribs I’ve ever eaten. It’s a shame they’re not open more often.

I give 4 stars for atmosphere only because it is a simple parking lot- but they do have a canopy up where you can stand while waiting the few minutes it takes to get the food. I might suggest putting a couple folding chairs out for those who may not be able to stand long- just a thought. Now for the rest. Raised a farm girl, the only beef and pork we ever had was home grown. I am pretty snobbish about my meats. Let me tell you, come and sample Templeton's food and no matter who you are, you will not walk away disappointed! They are only open a few days a week- the other days are spent preparing the food which is ALL homemade including the sauces ( but not including the buns which just would not be possible with the volume of business they do- but rolls are fresh for sure). Even though we live in the south where there are many, many bbq places to choose from, this is by far the best we have come across. Now being retired and having to stretch our dollars, we don't eat out often in which case we are choosy about where to spend money on eating out- which is not often. For those like myself, who wonder if "mild" really IS mild sauce, let me say it truly is non spicy and you can tell it is homemade- delicious. The beans are a must try and the brisket? Let's just say there is very little waste : ) I found the owner to be a nice young man who is responsible, approachable and takes great pride in what he does. How often do you get ALL this in the same place! Please come support this local business during a time big box stores are taking over everything. Thank you Josh Templeton!
