Sadly, the bakery was closed due to an emergency. However, The Curated Pantry had a few bread items available.

My 5 star rating is based off of 1 item. I am looking forward to trying many more!!! I was a little confused about the hours of the bakery, so I called and was given the run down. The bakery is located in an old house that was built in 1871. The bakery itself is only open on Saturdays, however, there is a building down the driveway with a black star on it, next to the home called the Pantry. The pantry seems to be stocked with items such as scones, muffins, bread, spices coffee, and syrups. FYI the pantry is set up to take credit cards only. I purchased a lemon scone and a chocolate and cherry scone. I had half of the lemon scone this morning, and it just melts in your mouth with lemony buttery deliciousness!!! 💛😋 I can't wait to try the sourdough bread!

BEST SOURDOUGH AND PASTRIES EVER!! My husband, who is from Italy, claims he's had pastries this good there. I think he's lying.

Most expensive baked goods I’ve ever purchased throughout the US. Two scones, one apple turnover, one butter cake, and two coffees was $27. Everything was delicious. The coffee was the best black coffee I’ve ever had. We were there right when they opened and the shelves were bare. There is no place to sit down so it’s only to go. This place won’t make it in this market.

I cannot say enough good things about Rob and Megan and The Bakery at 1871.
Everything we have tried has been absolutely delicious! Super fresh, high quality ingredients and not overly sweet. Reminds me of European pastries.
Love to see their friendly, smiling faces and of course, the baked goods!
Beautiful, clean building too.
Try them out- you will NOT be disappointed!!

Everything that I ordered last week was absolutely delicious! The scones were just perfect and the pastries and sourdough bread were delicious as always! Sparta is very blessed to have this special little Bakery!

Not your typical overly sugared choices. This is quality over quantity,so happy to have this in Sparta. If there is any problem it's that the word is getting out,so selection is not always full, but I'm glad they choose quality over production .

One of best customer service experiences I’ve had in a long time! Despite being closed due to having market the day before, the owner came out and gave us fresh baked cookies and bread. Definitely the best sourdough in the area – go check them out! ???

We are here visiting and saw this bakery on Facebook. Stopped by this morning to see what they had available. Their peach and basil scone was exactly what a scone should be, moist and full of flavor. So good that I went back with my mom and grandma to try the blackberry Danish and the peach and blueberry meringue. Everything was beyond delicious!
