It’s clean power that doesn’t pollute the beautiful skies of Tennessee. Besides, it’s one of the safest nuclear power plants in the country, and will likely never have an accident that comes close to the likes of Three Mile Island (which was very minor in terms of nuclear power plant accidents).
A few commentors don't know anything about nuclear power. It's still one of the cleanest most efficient forms of power generation despite radioactive waste, which could possibly even be recycled if we implemented thorium salt reactors, which China is working on. Solar and wind are not near as efficient. It's so safe you could even swim in the reactor pool without any safety gear because water is such a good isolator, so no, being anywhere near the plant can't...
I am 14, and i think that it would be so cool working here. having a high paying job, liveing in the countryside, getting along with other people who love the atom. big shout-out to the people keeping the cloud makers going 24/7/365.
