I was a little apprehensive coming here for a birthday party due to some negative reviews. To my pleasant surprise our party of 9 had a nice experience. The staff was friendly and attentive, Miguel our Hibachi chef did a great job and cooked everyone’s dinner to their liking. On top of that Asuka had a 16th anniversary special going on and quite a few of the menu items were 50% off.

I came in and dined with my family and the experience was amazing from beginning to end. Our server Ava was extremely attentive and sweet. She even greeted me at the door! The cook made the experience fun for my daughter as well with different funny gadgets, and the food was delicious. I can definitely see myself coming again.

Hibachi fried rice was gross and didn’t even look like it was fried on the hibachi grill. I’m disappointed in my waste of money.
I hate to make this way but it truly saddens me how much in quality Asuka has dropped over the years . I’ve lived in Tennessee my whole life and loved this restaurant. Been eating here for 10 plus years . But the food nowadays is bland and overpriced. The only thing saving it for is the sushi . I’ve been getting snow crab mountain for years and slowly it’s been shrinking it’s more like snow crab hill or small mound . Fried rice is bland and unseasoned. The hibachi if you sit at the table gets no love . Lucky I’ve found better restaurants over the years it just sucks

The room that we were served in was like an ice box. We had to wear our coats and it was still cold. Food and service was good, but they should send me a credit for the price I paid of $ 152.59 on 1-25-25, which was my wife's birthday.

To echo the other reviews: the food's bland and expensive for what it is. They need to leave the meat in marinade longer, use some spices!
