Since I moved to the Spring Hill area a few months ago I have not been disappointed. Until now.
I have been searching for a good cheesesteak sandwich and figured I'd try Chicago express. Big mistake. I ordered a cheesesteak and a side order of breaded mushrooms.
The woman at the register was polite and friendly. I was able to order and sit while I waited. It wasn't extremely long but it was longer than expected.
I got home and unpacked it. Everything was way overcooked.
The mushrooms were dark, but I tried them. They were so bad the breading turned to grains in my mouth and the mushrooms were chewy. Overdone.
The sandwich was smaller than expected. The filling was spread out and only covered about ⅔ of the roll. I tried it and this was also overcooked. The onions were stringy, dark and tough and some of the filling was black from burning. The salt was incredible. I couldn't taste anything but salt. It was so heavy, I could feel it on my lips after trying a few bites. The whole meal went into the garbage. I called when I saw the mushrooms and they offered to replace them, but I wasn't going to drive back for it. It was so bad, that I won't be back. Some things are simple mistakes, but If the whole order is this bad, I'm over it.

Sometimes the wings are good, but they are hit or miss! And when they miss your pissed off and want to go back up there for your hard earned money back! Getting clearly old wings because it’s .99 night is crazy and angering when you’re hungry and thinking you’ll get what you got before. When wings turn to dust in your mouth because they’re old and refried, is wild! Trying to attach a pic!

Lady at the register was on the phone never bothered to greet me. When I was rung up finally I was overcharged. Fountain drinks didn't work and they looked at me like I had bugs coming out of my ears when I asked them to fix it. My son and I were the only ones in store and he said, good thing it's not busy cause it's taking forever. Never again, should have gone to five guys.

When I'm close by, I'm hitting this place! Dine in and get the Italian beef wet!
Glad to finally try this place out. People have told me how good the Italian beef is for years. I disagree with those people, now. Fries were pretty dynamite though. If I go back I'm definitely getting a different sandwich. Bread was soaked through immediately, making the side of jus pretty pointless. Giardinera/peppers were great, and to their word they were pretty hot! The meat, however, was the primary component of the sandwich. It was like 80% meat. That's the way sandwiches is. But like, brother, Arby's is some A5 wagyu compared to this beef. 80% of the sandwich is flavorless, gray, and turning the bread into a ShamWow. Confusing, but like I said (wrote) they probably have better items on the menu that would be worth trying. The interior was also deceptively large and it was 88 degrees inside, so that might be a plus if that's something you're into.
