We had good food, but negative service. Maybe it was because she was tired, idk. Hopefully anyway

I ordered a glass a wine and the glass was super dirty so I had to ask for another. They were out of beer and margaritas. Silverware wasn't clean either. The food wasn't bad and our server was a sweetheart that kept apologizing for everything. Maybe everyone is just tired....idk but they need to step it up.

This review is late as we where visiting the great state of Tennessee last November.
How can food change within a few hours? We actually had breakfast which was great! But. When we went back for dinner it wasn't great. I've been eating at this brand for quite a while. I can say I know their food. So we ordered and her dinner was good but mine I had to take a double look something was different and disgusting. Everything but the fries was hot and looked freshly cooked. The fries was cold, oily AND preseasoned! I have never experienced this in one of these restaurants. Its like someone returned their fries to the kitchen and they gave them to me. I can tell the chef takes pride in preparing dishes. Disturbing!

Went to pick up a to go order and my to-go drink was only half full. When I asked her to fill it up before I took it from them she acted like it was like asking her to climb a mountain. If avoid this place If you can

Today me and my family celebrated Thanksgiving at the Spring Hill location. My first insticts was to not come here, but I knew my other family members loved this place. I should've listened to my instincts. We was the first to get the Thanksgiving kids meal for the kids, in which we didn't end up getting. The first waitress we had said we can switch the side around being they're completely out of sweet potatoes casserole, and same goes for the adult Thanksgiving meals. I ordered the cold coffee latte, and was told it would take 13 minutes cause the machine needed cleaning, and that I can have a lemonade to drink with no charge. We ended up with a new waitress, and she said the previous waitress told all that we wanted, but obviously not. We wasn't substituted another side like the first waitress told us, and pretty much what you see on the Thanksgiving menu is what you get, and the only pies left is pumpkin pie. We set for nearly three hours waiting on and off for food, my coffee, and pies had to remind her about, and got told the first waitress didn't take our order completely due to her being off shift soon, but she was still taking other people's orders, and when asked this to the second waitress, she said it was because of the coffee. Not sure why the coffee has anything to do with her leaving shift. Then when we reminded about the pumpkin pie, it has hair on the side of it. Completely disgusting. They did remake another one. It was just a total diseaster. We inteially didn't want to go out to eat, cause our stove stopped working last minute, but we decided to pick our kids favorite place, and think it didn't go as well. To spend this much on food, and they wouldn't let us substitute sides for paying nearly $20 a meal is crazy. I don't plan on coming back to this location for any holidays, and that's not all, we did an online check in and of a party of 5, but it said their was only four people, so my significant other had to pull up a seat to a table from a different table. Their must've been a glitch online. Our 2nd server was Heather she did the best she could, and before that the server not sure what her problem was. I can understand they're busy and all, but we was completely forgot about, and then after that it was one problem after the next. I never really had this happen like this. Only reason we came to this location to, is cause the Columbia one had an hour wait. I actually wouldn't have minded an hour waited verses waiting three hours for food.

I ordered the grilled chicken salad. It had a tiny pile of chicken on iceberg lettuce, 3 cherry tomatoes and 3 super thin slices of cucumber. Iceberg is cheap worthless so called lettuce. Lot of money for poor quality food. Bye bye Cracker Barrel. I didn’t like the fake gravy on a previous visit. So sad.

While I loved Cracker Barrel for a very long time, the quality of food has just continued to decline. Unfortunately for me it is only now when it’s the only option I will eat there.

I love Cracker Barrel. I must admit I haven't eaten there lately, and our visit yesterday was partly to see if the local restaurant was being changed. I was very happy to see it was exactly as I remembered. The food was great, the service was great, and I even found my wife a very pretty pullover shirt to buy. We will be back again, soon. Don't listen to the negative reviews. Cracker Barrel is the bomb. Long live Uncle Herschel !!!
