This was the worst experience that we have ever had at a Cracker Barrel in 30+ years! They were not busy on Sunday afternoon at approx 3 PM. It took 35+ mins to get any food after placing simple orders. I actually went to find the manager. He was “really busy” socially interacting with 4-5 servers who had nothing to do. Then we were informed that they were out of their Sunday special (at 3 in the afternoon??) but no one had told our server which caused our other orders to just sit and wait. All of this WAS NOT our server’s fault, but that of an un-engaged mgr. and a poorly operated kitchen. (This was proven by several other tables waiting longer than us for their food.) He wanted to place the blame on “your rather new server,” but it was not as she was attempting to work 3-4 tables in our immediate area, but was not having any luck in getting orders from the kitchen. We hope someone makes some management adjustments quickly.
I will contact Cracker Barrel home office as this is just too great a location for CB to be allowed to falter like this.

Took over 45 minutes to get our food, they put cheese on my eggs so the server had then redo them, when they finally came out they were barely cooked, both our hash brown casseroles were cold and “ hard”, brought out biscuits that were hard, my French toast was soggy. Bad experience.

Always enjoy eating at Cracker Barrel. We had pancakes and grits.
Pancakes were good, I like crunchy pancakes.
The grits were good until I found a small piece of bacon in my bowl. I don't like eating pork out.
However, I got full before I found it.
I still recommend it! We were at Cracker Barrel spring hill.
I prefer Columbia location.

They were out of dumplings, some of the food by the time we got it was cold. We waited over an hour for the food. The restroom had a toilet that had overflowed with be. The employees were standing talking about each other, and the working conditions.

I have picked up to-go food a total of 4 times here and twice the order has been wrong, one time I waited over 30 minutes for an order of fried food and sides on a Monday at 4-5pm. That time, I watched a grand total of four people walk in to dine during that 30 minutes. In essence, not busy, thus no actual excuse. As an aside, as for atmosphere, this is the least pleasant restaurant a happy person could walk into. No one seems to love their job. I don't think I've ever heard an employee of this particular location ever laugh or smile, even with each other. I have to get involved with being half-interested in the retail products just to not have the melancholy seep into me like a bad vibe for the day.

The food simply cannot be so good that many people under 50 choose to deal with this. I grew up eating CB but I've eaten my last meal at this one. Bummer for anyone in Spring Hill who likes biscuits and meat-n-threes, huh?

Your manager once told me, in an empty restaurant, while it was taking a long time to bring out an order that ten minutes and also five minutes prior I was told was "being bagged up", that he can't get it bagged up any faster. As a supervisor. No apologies offered. Just defensiveneds over what was, in any restaurant on earth, obviously poor performance. I don't think I've ever worked with a manager who wouldn't care about that ticket time. I have no doubt that the employees of this restaurant never get corrected for these kinds of errors if the manager 'claps back' at a 10 minute bagging of a 30 minute (low-quality food) order in an empty establishment.

I played a to go order using the online ordering process and when I went to pick up my order the store had only prepared one meal out of the three (3) I ordered. I had to wait additional time in order for my order to be correct. I understand we’re all human and make mistakes but how do you leave two (2) out of three(3) orders missing. I paid $50 for three (3) meal and received one (1) I knew as soon as I saw my order that it was not correct. They did correct my order but I had to wait another 20 minutes to receive my order.

Most of the food was ok, mashed potatoes were very lumpy.
Bad part was Cracker Barrel has taken some of their best items off of the menu. I went there specifically for the chicken pot pie. It is no longer offered. No pork chops anymore either.

Parking: Not as many people eating there now, so there was plenty of parking spots.

The biscuits were stale, my glass had a chip on the rim, there was squeezed lemon in my Cole slaw, we were there 25 minutes waiting for our food. Not sure I will return.

$3.39 is way too much for a coke. McDonald’s still sells a large drink for $1

Restaurant was not crowded for a Sunday morning so we did not have to wait to be seated. Our server was attentive and the food was average, but good. My only complaint is that the food could have been hotter.

Horrible service! We were seated by the hostess and then completely ignored. We watched multiple workers clean tables, chat with each other and the hostess flirt with a co-worker. The table next to us was served and finished their meal, we were still ignored. When a party of 3 was seated and a server took their order it was time to leave. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else to eat!
