I’ve been coming to Daylight Sushi for about three years now, and the quality and taste have been consistently great every time. The sushi is always fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. The restaurant is clean, and the staff are friendly and attentive, which makes the whole experience even better.

Delicious food! I enjoyed the atmosphere and how friendly the cashier was. Very helpful! There is a big variety of sushi rolls, Korean food and Sake. Plus the rolls are huge and filling!

I think price keeps people from really packing this place. The food is excellent (bit pricy), the staff is always fast and polite. The dining area is always clean and pleasant. Really like it 👍

I’m a working class man. I’ve even delivered to this location a couple times. I finally tried them, I ordered beef (bulgogi) fried rice, No veggie, with yum yum sauce. I pick up my order, & pay, even tip, although I never had the food before, check it out before I leave, there was veggie on it, no big deal, I ask for some duck sauce, the young gentleman at the register was kind, we even talked a bit before I left, but no duck sauce. I ask for 1 more yum yum sauce, the older guy Japanese man, yells for him to charge me for it, I have no problem with that, I’m willing to pay for anything extra that I request. My issue is that he says I can only pay in cash, after I had already paid for my meal with my card & tipped nice guy at register. Of course I don’t have cash, I’m currently on my lunch break at Amazon, usually, a respectable business wouldn’t send a customer off over $1 & change, but the man did just that, the guy at cash register apologized vehemently cause he was clearly the only person aware of the implications. I will never come to this restaurant again & will continue going to Royal Events & Social Soul Food a couple doors down, they were closed for a private event so I could not place an order that day, but they know how to treat people & have the best food in Spring Hill.

The chef and owner was extremely rude. We came in with our 3 year old who was acting well but decided while we were at counter ordering to ring the bell at counter. We appologized and gentleman taking order said no issues and was kind, but then to owner came over and told him loudly I dont want kids eating in my store make it a take out order. Excuse me the place was empty my child wasnt bothering anyone but because you dont like kids your going to be rude and talk down to my child and then still expect me to eat your food. I would stay as far from this place as possible. Maybe the food is good I wouldnt know as we went down street to rock n roll sushi where we were treated great and with respect and their food was amazing.
I really enjoy ordering from here. The food is always fresh and done in a timely manner. The people who’ve work there are always very kind and friendly. I highly recommend the dumplings, best you can find around Spring Hill!!

This star is specifically towards the owner of this restaurant, not the staff or their service. I came in after driving home from work, hoping to pick up a big sushi order for my husband and I. I let the young man who was working the register know that I needed to use the bathroom (had been driving and drinking water) Before I placed my order. The owner was waiting outside about 1 foot from the bathroom door and immediately looked at me and said “customer only” I explained to him that I was going to order, but he completely ignored me and walked away to the back kitchen. Because of this, I decided to go elsewhere and they have permanently lost my business as a customer who would’ve come regularly and moved five minutes down the street.

The food was nothing to exaggerate about. The service was adequate. The Asian guy with the bowler hat making sushi was not very friendly. I think he would have much preferred spending a day at the park walking his dog instead. Will never return.
