We dropped in on a Friday night around 7:00pm. We were seated right away, though there were several couples enjoying dinner. They had images of Italy on the television in the corner and the RatPack playing overhead. It is an open shared space with Martin's BBQ, so it smelled like BBQ and not pizza. The country music from Martin's often overpowered the Ratpack music too. The food was okay. The calamari was a little fishy on the backend flavor. The marinara sauce was good!

We adore Salvo's in Spring Hill, TN. The garlic bread twists! The manicotti! The Alfredo! I don't get to travel to Spring Hill often, but when I do I go to Salvo's. I miss the true Italian recipes from Boston. This restaurant...it's amazing. It might not be the North End from Boston, but it is definitely the best in Middle Tennesse.

I'm from NYC and can tell you this is definitely NY style pizza! We ordered a large cheese pie for takeout and it was very good. Next time we're in town we would definitely dine-in and try some entrees.

We have ordered from Salvo's many times but today will probably be the last. We ordered takeout and when we got it home, the bottom of the crust was literally black. Burnt to a crisp! It was disgusting and it's hard to believe that an employee actually put that pizza in a box for a customer. Their pizzas are not cheap and it's really disappointing. The quality is just not there.
