The drinks were pretty good, nice bartender, and good vibes with a small crowd on a Sunday night. I think the house and the location are very cool...it just seems like something with the ambience is a bit off. Maybe I'm picky, but I see a huge opportunity to bring in antique tables and chairs, decorate the walls, and really cultivate a fabulous ambience in here. I'm torn on this review. Let me start off by saying that the owner and bartender that we met were fantastic. The drinks and small plates that we had were also amazing. But they need to work on the atmosphere. This place has so much history and SO much potential, but the lack of decor really takes away from the experience. Stopped in to have a couple beverages and a small bite to eat. Could not have loved this place more!! The bartender, Rachel, was super friendly, the drinks were delicious, and the Gouda Bacon Dip was to die for! They have limited hours, but it's definitely worth a stop. The live music was also a wonderful perk.
