6th and Main is apparently a new restaurant located in Springfield Tennessee. While I rated 6th and Main a 5 Star, it should be considered a soft 5 star but someplace you should definitely try.6th and Main is located in downtown Springfield Tennessee. Parking is atrocious but do not let that deter you. This place is worth it. I wanted to ask the previous usage of the location but never had the chance. The restaurant features high ceilings, large windows and wood tables. No booths here. Be aware of the weather and where you sit because you will get a breeze from the front door opening on extreme weather days. The restaurant itself is on the smaller side but small is good thing at 6th and Main. The service at 6th and Main was good. It was not bad and it was not spectacular. When I found 6th and Main via Google search, it was stated that 6th and Main was newly opened. If that was the case then service was more than good. I expect things to only improve with time. The food is where 6th and Main shines. I ordered the Califlower bites as an appetizer. Lightly breaded and fried. The Califlower did not taste like Califlower. More like a hot wing. The sauce had an Asian influence. Simply delightful. I could have stopped here and been happy. The side salad that came with the Entrée was decent yet nothing phenomenal.I didn't take a photo of the menu like I should have. If you do a internet search for 6th and Main you should find their menu. There is nothing exceptional about the menu save the build your Mac and Cheese part. I personally believe that Mac and Cheese should only be Mac and Cheese with nothing added like bacon. The Mac and Cheese at 6th and Main is spectacular. No matter what you order, get the Mac and Cheese. The Waffle Fries were good but a little on the cold side. I blame that on the newness. Fries should always be hot and salted. The mashed potatoes were awful. They had no seasoning, no butter (gasp) and lumps. There is no excuse for any of this. You can buy a package of mash potatoes at the grocery store for less than $2.00 than will make the creamiest mashed potatoes ever. I was forced to eat lumpy mashed potatoes as a child. I will not as an adult. The County Fried Steak was good. The gravy was decent. It could be picked up a notch as good gravy is a southern right and tradition. The chicken tenders were extremely juicy and very crunchy. Almost over breaded. The tenders were so juicy I thought they were not completely cooked. So good. Must buy if you like chicken. All in all, 6th and Main in Springfield Tennessee is a must visit. It does not reinvent the business of serving or selling food. Ask yourself, how many times you have received bad food, bad service or both in the past couple of years. The food is great, the service is good and the setting is actually pretty neat at 6th and Main. Remember, the parking is terrible but the Mac and Cheese and Califlower bites are to die for.

This was our 1st visit, we won't be back. My husband had meatloaf over mashed potatoes, orka and a salad. I had chicken strips, sweet potato fries, we both had sweet tea. I was not asked if I wanted a salad. I did ask for honey mustard for my chicken. My husband unrolled is napkin and the knife was filthy, he wiped fork off with napkin and never used his napkin.Food came--we had to ask for salad and honey mustard. Our bill arrived and waitress had never come back and checked on us. I had to ask for more tea.

Just happened upon this place today. It was the best burger and BLT and Mac and cheese we have had in a long time. We definitely will be back

Tried it on a whim, and have found another hometown favorite! Service was great and food was exceptional, we tried five different items between us and they were all wonderful.

Cold food should be at least warm. Slow service same experience on two visits.

I don’t want to leave a bad rating because my server was very friendly and I completely understand the circumstances of being understaffed (especially in the kitchen). I had lunch here by myself and I ordered the Portobello mushroom Caesar salad. I ordered this salad with no tomato’s.. about 15 minutes after ordering, my server informed me that the kitchen didn’t have any mushrooms for my salad to which I replied “no problem! Just a regular Cesar salad would be fine.” When the server brought my salad… all that was on my plate was lettuce and a few small pieces of chicken .. my server informed me that the kitchen didn’t have any cheese either which obviously is what makes the Cesar salad what it is!So after leaving a $3.00 tip, my bill ended up being $20.The reason why I am writing a review is because when I left I just felt like I shouldn’t have paid $15 for a specialty salad.. if all that was given to me was lettuce, chicken and whatever cheese they could find me due to the kitchen not having the necessary ingredients to make the salad that I ordered.Again, I completely understand the circumstances.. I just think that maybe next time whomever is in charge should adjust the bill accordingly if the customer is not being served what they are paying for.

This was our first visit to 6th and Main. While they were out of what I really wanted to order, the burger and Tacos we're perfect. I can't wait to go back and try more menu items. I think The Depot might finally have some competition!!!If I had to make a complaint, it would be that the glasses are to small and the waiter had to make multiple trips just for drinks, but not once did she let me sit empty before having another on the way.The burger was cooked well done and was still perfectly juicy, I had the sweet potato fries with them and I don't think there could have been a more perfect crisp on them. The chicken tacos were meaty, slightly spicy, and very flavorful.I wanted the Braised Short ribs but it was late on a weeknight so being out of that wasn't a surprise to me.This is a gem in Springfield and I hope the word gets out and they do well!

Sunday just after 12 we asked for a table for 5. We were told it would be 30 minutes. We didn't mind waiting and they asked for a phone number to let us know when a table was available. At 1pm we never received a call or text. I asked someone about our table. They said 'let me go ask if it's still available". Ater waiting for 10 minutes the person returned. Seated a couple that just walked in. And began working on something else..... they never spoke to me again. At 1:15 We left to go eat somewhere else.

I am making this in reference to our lunch we had a couple of weeks ago. Before I begin, I’m extremely happy that they are currently closed for revamping, I hope they work on the staff and service during this time.To begin, they were out of so many things. Tea, many alcoholic drinks. I ordered a Truly in assumption that it just the regular Truly seltzer considering it didn’t say anything otherwise but it was a lemonade one and I hate those. I would not have ordered it if I had known. I had to reorder it several times because they were out of the flavors I kept choosing. We ordered an appetizer. I believe our server, a young girl, forgot to put it in because she brought out our food and we had to ask about the appetizer. She blamed it on the kitchen staff (maybe that’s true, but regardless unprofessional) she brought it out later on, it was delicious. Was actually better than our food. Our main food was not very good at all. We ordered a chicken salad. The croissant was SO soggy it was falling apart, I had to just scrap off the chicken salad and eat it. We also had a salad. TINY entree salad that was ONLY spinach leaves and that was not specified on the menu. We would not have ordered it if we knew. Then, the server billed us twice for the appetizer we didn’t even get till we were halfway done with our meals. She hardly checked on us as well. It was honestly just a horrible experience. This place has so much potential, I hope they can get there.

Great experience. Becky took great care of of us at the bar. Boom boom shrimp was solid. Meatloaf was outstanding too. Hot bacon dressing on the salad too.
